“It was a great stay. It was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and will certainly not be our last now with such a great experience we had at the House of 1833. Evan was an exceptional host/chef. He gave us a tour of the home and the history. The breakfast in the morning was incredible from the homemade apple cranberry muffin to the Greek Italian Mac & Cheese Spinach Souffle. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet, yet close to town place to stay. ”

“Great room however... a room for 2 needs 2 similar chairs to sit in, other than that cosmetic upgrades or even a step in to the future and make them smart rooms.. housekeeping NEVER came after first night room was as we left it when we came back from concert. However the registration staff was exceptional!”

Food was delicious at on-site restaurant, and there were many great food/shopping options within a walkable distance as well. Loved the views from the lobby porch rocking chairs and cute array of gifts in shop.”
