“The apartment needs a coat of paint where the paint has been rubbed off on some doors and the walls in places. The bottom of the shower unit leaked causing water to go on the bathroom floor. The space around the bed in the main bedroom is rather tight and the wood frame expands into the limited space. We could have lived with these small problems but the noise from the flat above was awful and went on late into the night so we were unable to sleep. It sounded like furniture being dragged……

“After reading some reviews I was nervous opening the door to the apartment, and it was so much better than I expected. I was disappointed we were only staying one night on our way to the Algarve region. Parking was easy (free overnight, just bring euros for the meter) the neighborhood was so quiet and lovely. The 2 bedroom we chose was huge, with an outdoor seating area and the pool was so nice. The kitchen fully equipped, just really comfortable and clean. Then we wandered up the hill and……

“This is a really nice property in Évora, with walking distance to the main attractions, some nice restaurants around as well as a small grocery store where you can get breakfast. They have a swimming pool which is money in Evora hot days. Recommended!”

“We stayed here for two weeks while we waited for our long term rental to be ready. We had our dog, Oskar, and we all had a fabulous stay. First, the flat is very comfy and has all the basics to enjoy a short or longer stay. The addition of a washer is a huge plus. The owner is incredibly responsive, and if you’re lucky enough to meet her in person you will have made a friend for life!!The area around the flat is fantastic. “This flat is a gem!! Fantastic location, clean space, super comfortable bed, all the basics needed for self catering if you want, and loads of hot water for the awesome shower. You are within a 10-15 minute walk of most of the historic district, 5 minutes from Parque Bonfim, and 10 minutes from the bus terminal. Do yourself a favor and walk around the corner to the small park and have a pizza at the cafe. It’s fabulous. We highly recommend this property!!”

“Das Haus ist so ungünstig gebaut, dass selbst im Sommer keine Sonne auf dem Nord Balkon erscheint. Nur ein kleines Bad Fenster ist Richtung Süden ausgerichtet. Es ist ausgesprochen dunkel und kühl in diesem Haus. Darauf sollte deutlich in der Beschreibung hingewiesen werden. Um zu Fuß nach Comporta zu kommen, muss man ein Stück über die Hauptstraße ganz ohne Bürgersteig laufen. Das Gelände dieses Hauses ist daher etwas abgelegen. Die Gegend und der Strand sind top! ”
