"Convenient for a short stay. Breakfast was the same every day of our 10 day stay. They had no kitchen only 2 microwaves so the same hamburger patty and “omelette” with American cheese. Juice machine was out of order for the last 4 days. On a slow Tuesday our room was forgotten by house keeping."

"The Promissory Hotel was a boutique hotel located in the center of Roanoke, Virginia. The location was excellent as it was surrounded by restaurants and bars in the downtown area. The rooms were decorated in a modern motif. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was very spacious with a separate living room. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel, which was also excellent. The staff was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If traveling to Roanoke, the Promissory hotel would be a nice place to stay."

"Very nice quiet place! We loved it and will be back at the end of the month! Salem has so much to offer! It’s such a cute town with good restaurants, book store, antiques etc. we walked to get pizza for dinner and to shop! Check out this great place to stay while your visiting Salem!"
