"Very nice team, quite, discret, available, very professional. Note: 20/20 The location is very nice with an amazing view of the surounding mountains and cliff. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. We saw many animals on the way and around the lodge (monkeys, impalas, gnou, mangusts and a rare red deer) with a particular enjoyable wake-up when opening the curtains: a girafe standing and drinking in front of the terrasse at 6 am."

"Modern hotel with good facilities and attractive gardens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast buffet and a choice of two restaurants for dinner."

"The staff were fantastic. Our guide, Caswell, was awesome, as were the staff. Can't say enough good things about the people - they are lovely."

"This was my second visit to the AM Lodge and hopefully not the last!"

"Wonderful!!!"

"Great trips. Great lodging. Good to great food. Great guides who try hard to make sure guests see wildlife."

"The room was beautiful and we had the best of times with the game drives and evry event they organised for us. The staff is really good and made us feel the most comfortable. "

"Amazing lodge in the middle of the savanah. Wonderful and fresh food, excelent services, confortable room! I do recomend!"

"Excellent staff, wonderful room, comfortable bed, beautiful setting."

"Toro River was an absolutely unique experience. We celebrated my birthday and our first wedding anniversary there, and we could not have had a more special and immersive experience. Our room was right on the river, and we were able to see many crocodiles and hippos from our own balcony. The room itself was wonderful, extremely spacious, with a very high ceiling and a beautiful private balcony overlooking the river. The amenities were excellent, the room was extremely well equipped, and the...

"located in a private nature reserve, no fences. Excellent food and very friendly owners. Getting in and out the nature reserve is a bit awkward due to long interrogation procedures at the gate."

"Amazing experience, staff and guide, tracker showed us an unforgettable time"

"Excellent value, amazing lodge! "

"A wonderful stay in one of the cottages which felt very homely. The scenery in the surrounding area was fantastic and everyone at the Lodge very friendly and helpful."

"Nice stay in phalaborwa. Good food at the Restaurant and great breakfast"

"Simply wonderful! Game drives were excellent and well worth the early start, although if visiting in winter be sure to bring your cold weather gear. Accommodation excellent. Food great too (could be a bit warmer, though). Friendly staff and a very welcoming vibe."

"The rating when I booked this holiday had dropped by the time we got there and the holiday did not live up to my expectations. One bed side light was dodgy with its connection so we didn’t use it and the other one didn’t have a lead long enough to reach the socket! Asked on arrival for this to be fixed, 4 nights later no difference. Drink service whilst friendly was slow. Cold drinks are collected by the staff from a fridge not in the bar area. The coffee machine is very slow, especially...

"Amazing experience. Breakfast was great and what we asked for. The chef cooked a meal that met our dietary needs and was delicious. Well worth going back again"

"Khaya Ndlovu is a rare gem. The beautifully curated indoor and outdoor spaces on the manor strike the perfect balance between elegance and homeliness. All the staff provide perfect but at the same time very relaxed and super friendly service. The food is delicious. South African hospitality at its best!"

"A very clean hotel, quite nice and the tranquility of the place is unmatched. They must improve their breakfast offering! "
