“Expedia is not updated for check in process. It is not Ganesh Hotel, it is village lodge. Regardless, we were redirected to the right place in village lodge and had the most amazing attentiveness and service by the owner, Caro, and our hostess, Luisa. Very beautiful beach loft in the middle of the jungle and 50 feet away from the most gorgeous secluded beach. Recommending this place to anyone who travels to Samaná. Not for people with disabilities or children.”

“Balcones del Caribe is a beautiful spot with an excellent location and easy access to the beach. The complex feels very safe, and the staff were always helpful when we needed general information. My only concerns were about the condition of the village: the back door didn’t have a proper lock, the bathroom door wasn’t closing well, and the safe box wasn’t working during our stay. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great potential—just needs a bit more attention to maintenance.”

“It’s a great basic hotel for the money. It’s not a bad deal but know that it’s basic. And for me it was expected in a small beach town of a Third World country. So there was nothing disappointing except for the Internet. I was completely lied to, and they tried to deceive me by telling me that I typed in the wrong Internet and finally when I told her why don’t you come to my room and show me because she said I can only access it from the room and not in the lobby.
