"The staff was excellent! There was trouble with our AC but it was due to the fact it was the hottest days of the year. We closed the curtains and blinds and this helped. I am sure the fact that we sleep in a 67 degree house at home didn’t help. Engineers Jeremy and Joe and the rest of the engineering staff did everything they could to make sure our stay was comfortable. The wait staff at the pools and in the small bars were very attentive. Breakfast was totally not worth the price you pay for it. Bring in breakfast from other places and have it in your room. The bar food needs to be stepped up a bit, but we had dinner one night at The Fish House and it was really good. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we can’t wait to come back for another family trip. Thanks for making our vacation one of our very favorites. "

We stayed in a signature suite - this room was HUGE and the modern farmhouse esthetic really fit with the city. The room service breakfast basket was unique and fun. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help. The Restoration is truly a Charleston gem!"
