"The Doubletree is conveniently located across the street from Newark Penn Station. Less than a 20 minute train trip to NY Penn Station with a lot of departures throughout the day. There are only a couple of late night restaurants nearby, but there is a 24 hour Walgreens within walking distance. The hotel staff is great and housekeeping is flexible about cleaning your room if you are a late sleeper. The rooms are a nice size and the beds are really comfortable. A small refrigerator is provided and there is a microwave available in the lobby."

"I think the hotel was pretty good, there’s still some fixture and updates that needs to be done , you can telll that this hotel was pretty old especially the location. The windows needs to be wiped on the outside area of it . The bathroom was okay . My only issue was the scene of the hallway it’s very old . "
