"Terrible check in experience. No one available for questions, etc. I was handed a key and told "your room is up the stairs on the left" IN A HURRY to leave and lock up!!! No one in attendance every time I went downstairs. Never got the wifi password. Won't be returning and I stay in Rockport very frequently. Thought I would give this a try. I actually grew up in a boutique Hotel that my parents owned in the town of Rockport and this is no way to treat a guest especially on the first visit. It was very clean."

"The Cove is a great location to explore Rockport, within easy walking distance to the shops. Views of the sea from the deck are exceptional. Our stay was during the off-season, so we didn't take advantage of the beach. The rooms were updated and very comfortable. Possibly due to mid-May being off-season, phone calls prior to arrival went unanswered and unreturned, and text messages seemed to be the preferred method of communication. When it was pointed out that the reserved 2 queen bed room was described as having an ocean view, the hotel receptionist explained that the website was incorrect and should be updated. We were only there for one night so it didn't dampen our enthusiasm."

"Beautiful spot, very clean and tidy rooms, kind and helpful staff, easy parking once you make your way down through Bearskin neck. The view is unbelievable, right on the water. Shopping right out the doorstep."

"We enjoyed our stay and due to the weather extended it an extra night with no problems. There is no front desk service -- all communication with our hosts was done through text messaging, but they were quick to respond, and our room was made up daily. The room was lovely and very comfortable. No breakfast or food on site, but there are good dining options a short walk into town. Great location for exploring the waterfront and downtown Rockport!"

"The Host was very clear that parking was off site, so no surprises there. However, it would have been helpful to have been provided a small street map with the free parking streets marked. We were given the names of the streets in advance, but had difficulty finding them because we didn't know the town nor knew which streets streets were one way or how far the streets were from the rental. A simple marked map would have been very helpful."
