“The property is stunning and unique and is exactly as it appears in online photos. The food was delicious - especially the breakfast and the omelet which was amazing! The tasting was lovely, the rooms were clean, and we appreciated the espresso machines in the room. The only negatives (all minor) were that the outdoor hot tub was out of commission waiting on a part to arrive (I know these things happen but it was a bummer since we were very much looking forward to using it and our room only had……

“A delightful place to stay. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms were modern. We had an incredible view of Ragusa from our balcony. The breakfast was one of the best I've had with coffee to order and a variety of local pastries, juice, and fruit. The B&B is charming and well-located to walk to the local sites. What makes this place stand out is the A+ customer service. They were responsive to the requests we made via email prior to our stay. Parking can be tight in that area, but when we……

“Bella posizione. No colazione.”

“Our stay at Shalai was outstanding from start to finish. We received a warm welcome from a genuinely friendly and professional team. The hotel is set in a beautifully restored historic mansion on a quiet street, creating a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Check-in was effortless. Our online check-in was fully recognized, so there was no need to repeat the process. No credit card was requested and payment was deferred until checkout, which was a pleasant surprise. The reception staff kindly……

“Appartement très bien malgré la clim absente. Petit village d altitude. Emplacement parfait pour un départ vers l Etna. Hôte très accueillant extrêmement sympathique qui tient également une petite épicerie à 100m je recommande ++”

“We loved this B&B. It's a great location for visiting Mt. Etna and the property is very pretty with a lot of trees and outdoor space. It is a large house with a few large, comfortable rooms so you do get to cross paths with fellow guests, which we really enjoy. Best of all is the hospitality of the hosts, Vincenze and Daniella. They were so welcoming and friendly and all of their recommendations for food and activities were excellent. It's a small town but easy to get to everything. Breakfast……

“Sehr tolle, gemütliche Unterkunft. Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Das Frühstück war mit so viel Liebe gemacht. Jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft. Zu empfehlen, auch wenn es etwas außerhalb liegt.”

“Loved the easy parking and friendly staff!”

“Everything about this property was excellent. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic and rooms were well laid out and clean. Bonus was having a gym to work out in.”

“Ottima professionalità del titolare che ci ha ospitato fin da subito mostrandoci la nostra camera. B&B al centro di Nicolosi, in ottima posizione, ottimo per chi deve andare ad effettuare escursioni sull’Etna. Consigliato.”

“WE USED THIS HOTEL AS A LAST NIGHT STAY ON OUR TRIP. IT WAS CLEAN AND CONVENIENT.”

“Excellente adresse. Le logement est propre et spacieux. Le propriétaire et la personne qui s'occupe de vous sont super sympa et a votre écoute. Une adresse que je recommande particulièrement. Merci a eux pour ce séjour passé chez eux. Nous reviendrons”
