“We’ve stayed at The Peaks on several occasions, and sadly, this trip was incredibly disappointing.
From the moment we checked in, the experience was poor. The front desk employee was curt and provided virtually no information about the hotel or amenities. We weren’t told that the pool was under construction, the waterslide was closed, the game room was closed, or that the restaurant wasn’t open. We weren’t given the Wi-Fi password, told where to find breakfast or what the coffee shop offered,……

“Excellent property, helpful staff lovely gym and pool facilities. Super easy to get to downtown and the Bluegrass Festival with the gondola! Would love to come back here and stay at the same property for skiing.”

“Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!”

“We loved Bear Creek Lodge! Good value for the area and convenient to the free gondola. Only thing was that hotels.com says parking is free, but it's $25/night.”
