"We liked the location and the view. The room was a bit tight. Considering it comes with a kitchenette at a bigger price, we expected to see a larger space. Overall, is a no contact service, and nobody cleans the room during our stay. For a longer period, this would probably be an inconvenience. Overall, considering the circumstances of being on a island, we loved our stay. servi"

"Beautiful location, super secluded on a dead-end road up Buck Mountain. Comfortable, clean, communicative hosts - would absolutely stay again! The road to the location is smooth and well maintained, but windy and very steep. Would recommend all-wheel drive in winter, totally fine in summer for all vehicles."

"This is the third time our family has stayed at Timber Lodge. We truly love this house. Everything about the home is well thought out for families. There are lots of little touches that show the owner really cares that his guests have everything they need.The pantry is well stocked with spices, olive oil, etc., the laundry room has detergent and fabric sheets...there are even extra first aid, and over-the-counter meds, and Band-Aids in the master bath. Truly, every single kitchen appliance, you can possibly think of is available. The hot tub is a lovely addition and the theater room is super fun. We all enjoyed sitting out in the large deck and watching the sun set over the mountains. Our family of 12, comprised of 4 couples, one single adult and 3 small boys, had plenty of room to sleep, relax and eat The kids enjoyed the large yard to play in and the toys in the loft. The tepee was also a hit. All in all we had a glorious week. We found Jason very easy to talk to and ready to solve any problems that arose.Also, the beds were super comfortable. I highly recommend this vacation rental and I'm sure we will be going back again."

"What a wonderfully private place....as long as the house next door stays unoccupied though even if occupied, there's plenty of privacy. I didn't stay in the tower bedroom, didn't want to negotiate the curved staircase, but the other bedroom in the separate building was very comfortable. Having to go outside to get to the bathroom was actually kind of fun, though I was lucky to have mild temps. I do wish there was a proper shower added to the tub room but I managed alright being careful. It was a bit ironic to have signs to be "water-wise" and then have a deep tub. However, whatever complaints I might have are more than countered by how special the whole place is!"

"Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be nice to have- the tall windows shades in the living areas cannot be drawn down so the home gets quite warm(July) when you’re away for the day and put a glare on the TV. 2 sets of towels per person would also be nice. Overall nice location- deer outside the home every day!"
