Seadust Cancun Beach Resort All Inclusive - Very Disappointing Having traveled extensively, I can confidently say this resort is one of the worst. We traveled with 17 family members for my sister-in-law’s birthday, and the experience was terrible. There are no daily activities or entertainment. The food is awful, with only the buffet being somewhat acceptable. The other restaurants look beautiful but serve bad food and poor service. Staff seem exhausted and uninterested. At the Italian restaurant, the chicken parmesan had no sauce, and the chicken looked dry. The sushi rice at Samurai looked fake, like plastic or pasta. All drinks, including alcohol, are watered down and of poor quality. The prices in the shops are outrageously high, almost a scam. The room key is a wooden tag on a string worn on the wrist, which is very easy to lose. My nephew lost his in the pool, and they charged us $210 USD — an outrageous fee. The facilities are in bad shape, with holes and broken lamps. The only good things are the beach and pool, but they never have towels. They advertised karaoke for two nights, but it never happened. This resort feels designed to make money, not to serve guests. I would never return and do not recommend it. It’s a waste of money and a terrible experience.
