"The owner is very friendly and does a great continental breakfast on the roof top deck. There are two tortoises and turtles on the deck. The stairs to the room are steep but the owner carried our luggage. Room was very clean. "

There was abundant drinking water, teas and coffee, water boiler, cups, etc in the common area. If driving to Matera hotel will arrange a parking location outside of the property (very safe) will arrange pick up and drop off the parking location. Very well organized. Hotel has a roof top dinning location overlooking Matera and Sassi. Beautiful. The staff extremely helpful . Over all an excellent choice when staying in Matera. "
