"Excellent hotel with a great gym and Japanese style onsen. The breakfast offered a wide variety of Asian and western selections. The staff are helpful and courteous. The room is decent sized. Shopping, restaurants, and subway are all less than one kilometer away."

"Located behind Dongmen post office, it is less than a-minute walk just around the corner from the Dongmen MRT exit with an elevator and lots of food choices including a huge fresh market nearby. Friendly, very polite stuff. "

"This is a lovely luxury property which has an older feel to it. The building is circular, which we found a bit disorienting, as you have to walk in outer circles around halls, or move through spokes from the elevators in the center. The rooftop pool has amazing views, but is less conducive to couples, as most seating is singular, around the pool edges. The gym and locker room are on the 6th floor, a long way from the pool. Our views from the room were spectacular (booked the 101 views). We liked the coffee (Nespresso) and tea provided. The hotel was quiet, bed was comfortable. Room was a little dark. Neighborhood was quiet and had easily accessible attached mall with restaurants and grocery store in the basement, convenience stores like 7-11 next door, Starbucks next door. Staff was highly professional."

"Although the hotel has an excellent location, it remains held back by the same issues I’ve noted for years. The rooms are very dated and in desperate need of a deep clean. Additionally, the front desk staff could be much more welcoming; the service feels cold and indifferent. I keep coming back for the location, but the property is showing its age."

"Staff was extremely helpful, very understanding of everything had great suggestions of stuff to eat or do. They held my baggage for me until my flight and was a breeze to get in and out. Very close to the metro station. My only gripe is that the sound proofing could be a bit better, you can sometimes hear door slamming in the hallway. Altogether still a great stay and would stay again"
