"A good stay at the Radisson Blu Hamburg (near the Messe). Breakfast was ‘ok’ although not quite as good at the previous Radisson Blu that we stayed at. It’s in a nice location right next to the botanical gardens - really nice to walk around if you like that sort of thing."

"Our family had a wonderful three-week stay on the Peißnitz. Even before you consider the fact that it is a houseboat, it had more space and amenities than most holiday apartments we'd stayed at before -- a separate room for each of our two children (my daughter loved the cosy cabin and its bunk bed), a full kitchen with quality appliances and kitchenware (and a dishwasher!), and a clothes washer and dryer in one of the two bathrooms. We felt very much like we were staying in the owner's own vacation home that was loved and assembled with care, rather than a cheaply-furnished profit-making venture. Being on a houseboat, however, was what made our stay magical and relaxing -- surrounded by the greenery on both banks, and greeted in the morning by ducks and swans who would swim over to be fed cornflakes. In sunny weather, we enjoyed sitting on the large upper deck during the daytime and watching the world go by -- canoeists, rowers, and paddleboaters all day long. (It does rock back and forth gently on the water, though; if you're prone to motion sickness, make sure you take precautions.)Transit connectivity is good; bus stops are close by, and subway stations are a brisk walk (about 10 minutes or so) away. Shops -- including a large supermarket and drugstores -- and restaurants are within walking distance. It was easy to get to the Hauptbahnhof for rail trips out of the city.We already had lots of pleasant memories of Hamburg; our stay on the Peißnitz has added to them."

"Amazing staff! We accidentally left a precious stuffed animal and they were very quick to respond to my email and help me get it shipped back to Ireland! Lovely place to stay, great breakfast and fantastic location. Would stay again!"

"Good apart hotel near to 3 star, all is remote with digital access, cleaning is once time on 7 days, in fact AC is not real, no idea why is so stu...d, but on level 0 is 21° and if you want to be colder and move the potentiometer on - minis scale nothing happened, has luck, i was in the begging of July and wasn't so hot in fact. Has a restaurant on floor 0, separate payment from hotel, for 18euro you can find better food for this money, espresso is not included."
