Good value for the money and what you would expect from a hotel at this price in the Myrtle Beach area. Rooms and hotel could use some upgrades, painting, carpet, etc. Free Breakfast was good. One of the queen beds needed to be replaced as it squeaked and made noises every time you moved.

The property in and of itself is fine, but our room was extremely musty. I wanted to change rooms but my husband hates to make waves. The air conditioning was not on when we arrived, so we cut it on to circulate the air and after 3 days of window opening, and door opening, we both came to the conclusion that the air filter for the air conditioner needed to be replaced. Other than that, the breakfast was good, the hotel is quiet and peaceful.

When my husband and i arrived we were greated very warmly by the hostess at the desk. The room smelled as if there had been a fire a few days before. The black staff members were awesome, very warm and inviting.The night manager was there the second night, whom was a white lady with blonde hair, she did not greet my husband nor me it seemed it was a little racially charged. We had an issue with the key she simply asked for my drivers license. No apology at all, no sorry for the convience. She had just seen me walk through the lobby before.The bed was very comfortable.Overall it was ok experience but for the 412.00 I paid it could have been better.

Was a bit upset, that we had a heat advisory, and got to our room without any air on and musty smell in the air. When asking the staff was there something wrong with the air as to why it was off, she just smiled and asked if we'd cut it on? I told her yes, and she said that it would be fine then. We also had to ask for sheets and a blanket, for the pull out couch, when they knew there were four of us booked, along with extra towels, so we'd have one a piece. I stayed here 10 years ago for a week and never had to ask for a thing. The pool was like bathwater and was well over filled. We heard other guest complaining about the same thing. With it being so hot, we were looking for a cool dip in the pool. The house cleaning staff were very sweet and professional and made our day as we left. My daughter was so impressed with the lady in the breakfast room, that she stopped on our way out to give her a tip. The room was nice and clean, and we just had a few things that would have made it perfect.
