Beach Trip

Other than the door code being waaaaay to long everything was perfect. We enjoyed the location and the amenities throughout the property. Great place for families and great access to the beach. The parking garage access is tricky (access cards deactivate) but the staff at the front desk is great to assist

Beautiful View, Nice Resort, Minimal supplies

The view and the resort was great. The guest support was responsive. The starter supplies were very minimal. Only cup and plate options were glass, thank goodness we brought drinking vessels for our children. Loved that towels were available at the pool but they were always out at the south location, but could be found at the north pool and slides. I have rented vacation homes many times and this was the first to not have coffee, salt or pepper, that was a disappointment. The location was great though and the room was very quiet, close to everything, but not the noise of the strip.

The condo was dirty. Dishwasher smelled like something rotting. There was food caked into the rugs and furniture. Dust everywhere. Carpet pulling off of outside balcony, it’s a tripping hazard for sure! Beautiful view from balcony! Amazing resort. But I would never book this room again.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel grounds are mostly nicely kept for the most part,The hallways could have been cleaned better and there was no air conditioning in the elevators or hallways to the rooms but they were open too so that would have been hard to do. The pools and amenities were great. We really enjoyed the pools, the Starbucks and the restaurant. The beach access is within steps from the main areas. The biggest disappointment was that the dryer in our condo did not work. So we ended up wasting a lot of time going to the laundry area and paying extra to dry our laundry. We could not got clean towels from the hotel because we booked through Vrbo and it was separate owner. A service technician came out to fix the dryer but the motor was shot and he was not able to fix it. Other than that we did enjoy the condo and the amenities. I would recommend for a family with children for the pools, splash pads and slides.

Everything was great! Very clean. Every dish I needed in the kitchen. Host was quick to help me with my questions. The complex was awesome for kids. We didn't have to leave once we got there with groceries!

The TV in the bedroom and family area had no service. It took several calls and they did fix that one but not the one that I needed to work in the bedroom. Also 2 smoke alarms need new batteries and were chirping. I took the battery out of both. You should pay attention to your property. Please let me know when you’re going to do for me. And by the way. This was my second unit. The first reeked from smoke. I was told by your representative that this was a reacting problem in the first property you put me in. Thank you for ruining what was supposed be a a relaxing weekend for me.

Would never go back or use this company! They knew there were things broken in properties and didn’t have them fixed! We had no dryer, coffeemaker was broke no beach chairs tubs got clogged every shower and the Wi-Fi kept dumping out! I tried called several times to fix issue everyone kept saying they would return my call and they didn’t! They were also supposed to AT THE LEAST GET TOWELS dropped at the door bc we were drying them on chairs on deck and they didn’t even do THAT!!! The slides in hotel are run down and old and dirty! One of the elevators was broken on site and u have to pay to rent chairs in beach too! This was our one family vacation and I was very disappointed! They offered a 25$ refund for our troubles haha can you imagine!!!! Never again I would not recommend this place at all!

What a mess

The beach scene was awesome. This would have been the perfect place unfortunately we were disappointed. Upon walking into the unit the floors were sticky there was standing water inside the master bedroom's tub the towels were dirty. When I called to report the issues that we were having I was told that we could look into getting a different room. The room that they wanted us to go to was smaller than a room that we had. I wanna say this 1st the room that we originally chose for a vacation we were not able to get. The morning of our trip as we were driving down the road we got a call stating that the original room that we had paid for was not available and that they will find me a place that was suitable fly needs. At the debating back-and-forth with customer service who was very generous and generous and compliant and patient we found the room that was the vocal stuff it was the vokasta on the water Unit 1053. Once we got there that's when we found out the things that were not incomplants. I told the young lady that at this time my family was tired and hungry and ready to enjoy their vacation. I told her that we have been sitting around a little too long not enjoying application time to try to find out where we could say it or if we could get a decent place and that I would be willing to clean the unit as long as they discount it and gave us back some money. That's when she said that she was trying to do her best but that the owner of the unit was debating that we were not telling the truth about how dirty the unit was. I never had a problem with making reservations with VRBO or any other place and I would definitely not hold my family up thinking that I can get over on someone and maybe that's what people are used to but that's not what I do. I asked that even Though we waste out Friday night cleaning and mopping the unit can we get a little check out on Sunday and they told me no that I would have to pay for a late check out. I asked them if they would give me the unit to check out later so that we can enjoy the time that we had to miss on cleaning the unit and the answer was no I was very disappointed with that answer because I was the one that was inconvenienced from the time of 10 o'clock on Friday morning until the time of Sunday the 25th and we checked out. Sometimes Time's big business need to look at the basics and know that everybody is not trying to get over they could have sent a representative send a representative over to check and see what I was saying was true but it didn't even do that so again I am very disappointed and I hope the costs are understands that this message that I am sending them is to let them know that customer service is more than needed it's expected when you spend your money.

Overall it was a good family trip!

There were a few minor things that irritated me, I could almost say just because they compounded. Overall the kids had a good time and that's what mattered. In the heated pools and hot tubs, which we expected to use a lot given the time of the year... were not heated. The hot tubs felt like a Luke warm tub, and that's not a pleasant feeling when you're sitting with a bunch of strangers. Lol we couldn't use a fee of the indoor pools because it was so cold and they were like ice. I don't know if they kept them cold for people to do a Polar plunge or what. The room overall was a good stay! We didn't have rags, luckily we brought body scrubbers, the kids bathroom had a leak in the sink the entire stay (*more like a drip), and then come to find out when we did laundry, the dryer didn't dry after 3 times of running a cycle. We had to take to the main area and pay, they dried them super quick. Finally , no hand soap.... odd when you get a 2 bedroom suite to not have the "upgrades' you would expect for 5 stars. Again, it was fun, the kids didn't complain with the exception of the slides causing a few bruises on their middle of spine because they're a little bumpy... but that's expected... 😆 🤣 😂 we will probably go back and see if it's changed when it's warmer, would have second thoughts when it's cooler and you're banking on the kids using the indoor "heated" amenities. I froze sitting, working on my laptop on the sides.

Great location!

We have been to myrtle beach about 3 times. We always have a good time. Dunes village has everything you need for kids to have a good time. The room was awesome. We are a family of 5 and this room fit exactly what we needed.

Beautiful Condo

This condo was beautiful! Furnished perfectly, luxurious, cool, and the most gorgeous view!! I had the most relaxing time in this place and would stay again. The resort itself was more for families, not singles looking to relax by the pool. It was VERY busy with lots of kids running around. If you have a family you will LOVE this place. If you are looking for a quiet vacation, you can achieve that by staying in the room! All in all a beautiful place to stay.
