Not what we expected
This was our first time to Myrtle Beach, so we didn’t have a lot to go on when we booked this trip. We chose based on the listing, but the listing is not accurate. We have used VRBO for many other vacations and have loved them all, except this one. I am not usually a negative review kind of person, but I had to do this one. The location was okay, the beach was beautiful. The bar at the Santa Maria restaurant was nice, and the bartender was awesome! That’s why I gave it two stars. The hotel itself was just dirty. The hallways and common areas looked like they had not been cleaned in days or weeks. They have large garbage cans in the hallways, all over the hotel. There was always garbage flowing over. We were there for 6 days.The furniture in our room was dirty. The dishes and silverware in the cabinets we not cleaned all the way. The floors were sandy and sticky from the minute we walked in. It says it sleeps 6, but that is cutting it very close. We had a family of five and had no room for our belongings, especially when the wall bed was down. All the ice machines are torn out of the odd number floors (you can only get ice on floors 2, 4, 6…) it is very hard to find any staff there, not even at the front desk. We had to track down towels and garbage bags. The pools and hot tubs were dirty and Sandy and cloudy. The list goes on here.

The water main busted was without water for 3 hrs. No broom in room had to go buy one to sweep all the sand up. No cash policy everything had to be charged to the room even if you ate at their restaurant. We only had cash with us

Overall great experience
This was our first time staying at this property. Check in was great. Staff was nice. Housekeeping did not come in while we were there which we were told they would not. Anytime we needed extra towels the staff was more than willing to help accommodate us. Location of the property was great. We were close to numerous restaurants and shops. Overall great experience for my family of 5.

Bring your own cleaning supplies....
Resort was decent but due to Covid there was no housekeeping during our stay. Room was updated but just not very clean. If you are like me and like a clean spot, buy some disinfecting wipes & broom at the minimum. Laminate floors got very dirty and sandy. View to ocean was excellent & you can see the pools from below. Condo kitchen had all of the amenities to cook meals if you wanted. 4 adults can stay easily, just a little snug. Located in North Myrtle Beach so you will have to travel a little to attractions. Overall for the value I give the place 7 out of 10 stars.

Beautiful view!
It was the first time we vacationed in Myrtle beach. The listing was pretty accurate. The view was beautiful, however the space was quit small for our family of 5. Kids enjoyed the different outdoor pools and easy access to the beach. Hotel is on the older side and upon arrival the floors on our apartment appeared greasy and had to request housekeeping to redo them. Elevators are not air conditioned and long wait times. Most of the times we had to park the car across the street since the parking lot directly under the apartment filled up quickly. Overall great experience.
