Ocean View Studio~Sea Mist 50703

This studio condo sits on the 7th floor of the Driftwood Tower at the Sea Mist Resort. The condo is fully stocked with towels, linens, cookware, and all furnishings. The efficiency contains two double beds, a full bathroom, and a full kitchen. You are able to rent cots to sleep a max total of 4 people in the condo. You also have a private balcony where you can enjoy amazing views of the Atlantic ocean.

While the Sea Mist is a 65-year-old complex, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests truly love the space, and we appreciate the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.

The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and bedding. We truly want to make your experience with us as affordable as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid-staying cleaning requests for a small fee.

While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our rates reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!

Free Wi-fi and Cable are available.
Smoking AND Vaping are not allowed.
Unfortunately, all pools are currently unavailable for guest use with no anticipated reopening date.

Arrived and spent over a half hour trying to figure out where to check in. Finally figured that out and walked into a small cove area to check in. It smelled like sewage and it took forever to get checked in. The building looked horrible and we almost canceled and went home at this point, but we had to be at dance competition. Got to room which was not very clean and the pictures online avoid certain areas of the room because they look so bad. Said 2 queen beds but it was 2 full size beds that were the most unconformable i have ever tried to sleep in. Also, just because there is a stove and refrigerator, there is nothing to cook with. Only a few plates, bowls and cups. Silverware was extremely limited. Fan in bathroom does not work. All but 1 pool were closed and the one that was open was disgusting and closed at 7 pm. Pictures online of the building are not of this building, they are of one of the other buildings. This building was very old and dated.

Our stay at Sea Mist 50703 excellent. Although I have a minor grip, I wish that the room had a pan. There were two very small pots, not even big enough for a box of spaghetti. It was a little frustrating because we had to go out and by a cheap pan from dollar general that only lasted two cooks. It would be nice to have a pan and a larger pot, along with some more cooking utensils, like a spatula and a strainer. Besides that the stay was fantastic, location great, every device worked, the room was extremely clean, lots of pillows, the ability to control the AC was nice, the shower and bathroom was very well kept. The communication from the owner was very helpful and quick. The resort started to charge for parking and the owners reached out to be almost a week before our stay to tell us. They apologized profusely and reimbursed me when I got there, which was amazing. Also the price was very affordable to split between four people, I hope that doesn't change in the future. We will definitely come back here next year.

This really should be a $50 or less room. Their idea of upkeep is just to prop the main door open and add a keypad lock to the room. The safety chain was half knocked out of the wall. The privacy deadbolt did not work. There was some type of police incident outside the room. (Shooting, gun fire) The listing pictures conveniently left out the moldy and nasty bathroom which the New coat of paint couldn’t hide. The kitchen is pointless cause i wouldn’t want to use either in fear something would explode. Basically if you need somewhere to sleep and only sleep, then this might be the spot if you can find it cheap. Otherwise don’t waste your time or money.
