Ocean Park Stay

Check in was seamless…In condo, towels were not dry…Dishes were not dry, dog hair was around chair legs in eating area, condensation from a/c unit flooded terrace, fireworks from beach interuppted sleep and had to call police, ice maker in hallway was inop, very doubtful if we will stay at Ocean Park again..

Getaway

The unit overall was clean, with new cabinets in kitchen, and bathroom, and furniture seemed to be new as well. The bedding was below average and very thin. The first night we were there we killed several adult roaches and I reported to the front desk the concern. We did not see any after that. The location of the unit is in a interesting part of town. The building itself is run down and has a dirty feeling overall. The staff however was friendly and cordial. I should have checked the area prior to booking this listing. This stay served the purpose of a hot shower and a place to lay our heads after a day at the beach which was beautiful. The unit is clean but just not our usual standards of a location or with common spaces. The communication was great and we again appreciated the the stay.

If i could give 0 stars i would!

This was the worst experience i have ever had staying somewhere. i never leave bad reviews…EVER! I don’t complain and honestly i’m not too picky either. Not only did we come in to dirty beds with sheets that had not been changed, but everything felt sketchy and dirty about that place. It felt unsafe and gross. The property manager had someone bring clean sheets after I reached out very upset, but that is all they did for me. I didn’t want just clean sheets..the whole place needed cleaned. So we packed up our stuff and went to the airport and caught an early flight home (we were only staying at this location for one night due to our place in ocean isle being saturday-saturday and our original flight being on sunday). The owner knew of this and knew I was very upset and didn’t give any compensation for it. In fact, the $50 early check-in fee I was told I would get back (yes that’s all i was offered)—She didn’t even give me!! I had to file a dispute after never receiving it! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Do not waste your time booking here.
