Beach condo, pool closed

The listing did not mention that there was ongoing construction at the complex from 9-5. The incessant jackhammering made it impossible to relax in the condo. Ì am very disappointed in VRBO not mentioning it. inlisting.

Lots to love; some minor improvements needed

Things we loved: Location; view from deck; cookware — skillets were excellent, knives were wonderful; bed/bedroom very comfortable; room temperature very good. Refrigerator was good. Dishwasher worked well. Facility had a very nice indoor and outdoor pool. Proximity to the beach just couldn’t be better. Lovely walk to the beach as well. Convenience store on main level was well-stocked with necessities, and was affordable. Things that need improved: Kitchen supplies — there were no serving bowls, no oven mitts, no coffee filters. Silverware was not as clean as one would like. Stovetop had two burners that were crooked and unusable. Bathroom — barely enough room to shut door to use toilet. Toilet paper holder was loose from the wall. One week stay — only two rolls of TP provided. Lastly, the living room — why on earth is the TV mounted to a side wall and NOT facing the couch/sitting area?!?! Makes it completely useless. Didn’t even pull out from wall or turn.
