Room #1009 @ The Palace
Overall our stay was great!! The room was clean and nicely laid out. The owner provides basic cookware and utensils so that helped out on budgeting. My only dislike was the bed, to me and my husband it didn't sleep good at all. I was constantly waking up during the night because I kept rolling & sinking into the center of the bed. It just seemed very wore out to me. The majority of the people at the hotel were considerate of other guests and friendly. I was unaware that an ice machine wasn't available for guests at The Palace and the front desk lady was a bit rude when I asked her if there was an ice machine on site until our room fridge/ice maker had time to dispense ice. We didn't let her or her rudeness ruin our trip though. They have security walking the grounds during the day and at night to keep everything under control and family friendly. The hot tubs & pools were clean, you could tell they were maintained daily. I would recommend this listing to anyone who is looking for a nice, pleasant & decent place to stay. We will consider returning to this location and staying in room #1009 in the future as long as an upgrade has been made to the bed.
