“The front desk and house keeping were both very friendly and helpful - the view and location were great! It’s an older hotel which is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars for cleanliness and condition. It was a great place to stay for a quick trip on a budget. ”

“We all loved The Darlington! Our room was spotless, the staff welcoming and the location great! This property has quite a selection from our motel room in the newer building to cottages scattered around the property to the original inn rooms. Right at the foot of the boardwalk mean you are near everything right across the street from the beach but with the feeling of lots of open space. It's an easy stroll to lots of restaurants and amusements. They even had a welcome treat pack for our dog. We……

“This place is the best setting!! Right on the beach! We loved watching all the traffic in the evening and enjoyed the music. I was there for work and the noise from the street didn't bother me sleeping. I had two of my grands who live in Charleston come up for a night. We beached it, shopped, ate great seafood, went to a water park and walked the pier!! Would def stay again. The parking was a pain but the garage was really close. ”

“Location is great. Overall stay was good Some issues we had: • Elevators in the parking garage need to be serviced. We were stuck in one because the doors didn’t open. After a minute or so I was able to pull it open and exit. • The mattresses and living room chairs are very outdated. The mattresses need to be changed out for sure. • There was a lot of cigarette and marijana smoke in the parking garage elevators and on other balcony’s that made sitting on our balcony hard to do.”

“Room view and ocean view from 10th room was stunning. its Why you come to the beach. Rehab on rooms was not done well. Pool and room was not clean. If you want a great ocean view, check. doesnt get better”
