“Very clean home, has everything you could need, fresh water for drinking. Great views from the deck, quiet and safe neighborhood a bonus! Had a cooler for us to take to the beach, beach chairs, all kinds of stuff available for use. Loved relaxing on the screened deck mornings and evenings. Host responded quickly to a question we had. Accommodations and Host were great! Would def come back next time!”

“This cabin is the best location! 5 mins away from the park. Fortunately, Kīlauea was erupting during our stay. It was a 10-15 min drive to the best viewing area in the park. It was one of most awesome sights we ever saw! The cabin itself was great and had everything we needed. The only downside is it could use a good deep cleaning. Otherwise, we had a great stay!”

“I absolutely loved this location for our stay on the big island. Checking in was smooth and Gregg gave me a call personally to make sure everything was good. The house is right by Pebble Beach which is very convenient for activities like swimming and snorkeling. There’s snorkeling equipment available at the house which was great. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. The drive to Volcanoes National Park is about 90 minutes. I loved the views……

“Great location… just a short ride to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (5 minutes). Beautiful house in an ohia fern forest setting with an outdoor hot tub which was fun for the kids. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the Macnut chocolates and coffee provided was a nice touch! Would definitely rent again! It was a nice relaxing getaway with the family. ”

“This spot was awesome! The neighborhood didn’t have a great reputation with the locals but we honestly had no problems at all staying on this part of the island. The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed and even offered lots of really great recommendations for things to do while we were there. There isn’t a lot in the way of shops nearby, but they do have the essentials– a quick mart, gas, and even a pizza place. Very quiet and the stars at night are unmatched. The yurt……

The house was clean, had ample cooking supplies, and stayed cool from the cross-breezes and fans througout. ”

“No shops nearby, but the peacefulness of the area was wonderful. Had to drive a bit to get to places but then the island is big and you do have to drive more. Saw areas i had never seen before and the beautiful overlooks from Kona Joes and another coffee shop were breathtaking.This house was on the ocean and we had beautiful sunsets every night, so peaceful sitting there by the ocean with the waves, I loved it.Thank you for sharing your home!”

“Had a wonderful stay at Rick’s Place. It’s exactly as described - peaceful and private. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the deck enjoying the ocean view.Dan was quick to answer any questions. There’s everything you need to cook, and we really appreciated the super comfortable bed. Outstanding vacation!”
