Nagasaki Prefecture Bar Hotel

"It was a quick ride on the Tram to the hotel. The area around the hotel offered great transportation spots for accessing where we wanted to go. Very close to the hotel we found “Boulangerie by Prunelle. Just follow your nose and you’ll find it! A treat from here and the coffee machine for guests at Hotel Forza Nagasaki makes a nice treat. Our room at the hotel was very comfortable, as was the bed. We would highly recommend staying here."

"Very comfortable, spacious and clean room in a beautiful hotel. The view from our room was outstanding! The onsen was a welcome addition to our stay. The staff allowed us to check in a few minutes early which was helpful after a long train ride. "

"The hotel is only a few minutes of walking from Nagasaki Station and local tram station so it's easy to go around town on public transit. There is a 7-11 on the property with a dedicated door to the hotel lobby. The hotel offers free ramen as evening snack (well patronized by other guests) and a lounge with massaging chair, manga library (wow!). The breakfast buffet is a highlight with many choices. On top of standard breakfast fare (both Western and Japanese style), the hotel showcased some of the local dishes which is otherwise hard to find in other parts of Japan. I intended but didn't have a chance to use the public bath as it was getting crowded in the evening, but you can check the status on the TV real time which is handy. My room has shower stall only, but it's clean and looked new. I will recommend this hotel without hesitation."

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. The room was very large for Japan. It was very comfortable and we loved the extra sofa seating area. The location is great; so much more fun than staying near the train station. Outdoor spa was fabulous!"

"Conveniently located hotel in Izuhara, everything that you might want to do in Izuhara is walking distance from the hotel, close to some nice restaurants, close to isaribi park (with the foot onsen up in the hills nearby), close to some castle ruins, gardens, temples, shrines etc and the port (especially near the old port) was a short walk across the bridge and was very beautiful. Main detractor was the lack of options at breakfast - it was so bad that I ate a bit of rice and a tiny bit of japanese omelette on the first day and then skipped the next day altogether as just wasn't good.... even the drinks options were poor here. Bed and pillows were comfy. Staff were really friendly."
