"This Ryokan was absolutely perfect. Train station literally across the street. Quiet area and the property itself was spectacular. Rooms were spacious, food was delicious. Also, onsen near the lake was peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here."

Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu
10/10 Excellent
"Really great hotel excellent location from Train station . Amazing views of the ocean and the city.. walking distance to Hamamatsu Castle… across street from Music Museum… good food close by.. nice city not as busy as Tokyo. Nice reprieve from the chaos.. only thing that would be nice is if they had a pool… to cool off on such a hot day "
"Despite being a foreigner in a commonly Japanese space, I was treated with the utmost care and respect. Being able to sample multiple variations of green tea (leaps and bounds more complex than any I had tasted back home) while looking out across the lake was an unforgettable experience. I wish I had stayed an extra night so I could experience a few more of the available services, but I did manage to purchase some tea leaves and orange juice for the journey. A top nitch experience all around."
"A little older than some of the other business hotels, but I find this the best. Has a lot of good free toiletries, larger rooms and good desk space in your room to work. Best of all AC worked with no smell"
"We stayed one night. The room is comfortable and big, and the Onsen is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from ( mostly Japanese breakfast style)"
"Convenient for our needs while visiting family
in the area. Wonderful staff & amazing cleaning staff who do a fabulous job.
English language understanding could improve

"Decent rooms/bathrooms with okay soundproofing. Not much around the immediate area, but the hotel offers a very nice breakfast buffet and the staff are excellent!
The hotel only having one elevator is quite the inconvenience. In exchange, the hotel offers a unique guests-only parking spot that you can use freely all day for only 1000 yen!"
