Everything was good. Other people had issues with things being taken from their room, but we did not experience that. Only negative thing we dealt with was some of the staff acting annoyed and rude at times. Aside from that we had a blast, great room, most of the staff was great, beaches dreamy, and culture was fun!

It’s simply one of the most beautiful hotel resorts on Seven Mile Beach. Nestled in an art deco style, it is perfectly maintained, with a stunning sandy beach set among gentle shade, palm trees, and other local vegetation. The water is calm, with almost no waves—sometimes a bit shallow, but every place has its trade-offs. The food is excellent, high-quality, with Jamaican cuisine highly recommended, while they also do a great job with international dishes. Overall, I’d say the entire property feels like one large Caribbean spa.

Clean room, although we had to change rooms in the middle of our two week stay. There were limited clean towels available in the morning but a staff members would come by in the afternoon and offer to secure us some. The beach was the highlight of the trip but my husband had to wake up at 4 am to go out and out our stuff on a chair to have a spot secured on the beach and even after all that we would wake up at 7 and come out to the lifeguards moving our stuff for people who would tip them for a spot. We went from april 3-15 (Easter and carnival) a busy time but the grill restaurant was only open once during this time and the Thai, and italian were on a rotating basis. This listing is a bit deceptive because it mentions 4 or more restaurants but really there are 2 buffets in the morning, a few places open during the day and the 3 restaurants rotate their closing with no communication to guests. You could literally walk across the resort and get to the Italian restaurant only to find out it’s not open and now you have to walk all the way back to the other end. I saw the pools being cleaned by lifeguards and skimmed in the morning but the pool by the lacklustre lobby and the pool by the water rental place were never clean. There were many memorable staff that helped with issues whenever they could but there was definitely a miss communication with work orders taking a while to fill. We had a wonderful time at Azul. The family sized room was perfect for our girls trip. Most of the staff were fantastic. The food was decent and the resort is large so lots of space. The Spa was exceptional and the beach breathtaking . The resort does need some updates for sure. The boardwalks are starting to have old sagging wood. And none of the pools had shade or loungers for folks. The day bed cushions are worn out. However we had a fabulous time. We loved the foam party and the daily activity options. It was our first time in Jamaica and we will definitely be back.

Pictures are deceiving. Looks great online, but not the best in person, specifically the rooms. They don’t provide towels daily, as you have to ask for them, if you want fresh ones. The food options are not the best. Website shows more options and the opening hours is not the best. Overall the food is just okay. They also have a lack of enough patio/beach chair and covering of shade. They are lacking in providing update maintenance on items:cabanas, beach chairs, lighting, overhead cover on a lunch building, and wood flooring by pools.

Beware to be scammed at the resort !! I was given the name of O’Brien Fortnite transportation to the airport. He charged me $70 for the VIP lounge and express immigration line.. He never sent me any confirmation by email and when I arrived to the airport, to the VIP lounge, there was no reservation in my name. I called the resort and they transferred me to several department, but no one helped me.. the gentleman who scammed me was in the hotel, and everybody knew him.. I do not recommend a place. No one wants to be scammed.!!

My family found Azul to be a beautiful resort in a fantastic location in Negril. The beach is calm and warm- just steps from hotel rooms. All the staff was excellent during every encounter- kind, polite, friendly, & helpful. There may have been 1 or 2 times a server was quiet/aloof but never rude. Tipping 1-2 dollars per service was very common here but servers were thankful and didn't automatically expect it. The rooms were quite comfortable and any signs of being outdated were minimal. The beds were great and the whole resort was very clean at all times. The shower was spacious but water pressure and temp would fluctuate from warmish to hot to cold and would turn to a literal trickle for 5 seconds before returning to normal. This occurred all week, no matter the time of day- weird but tolerable. There is a lack of towels that was not addressed by management. If you leave dirty towels for housekeeping they are not replaced. There are no bath mats and you have to get up before 8:00am to get pool/beach towels. They do not get refilled for the rest of the day unless a beach attendant pities you or you gave them a good tip the day before. Bringing your own beach towels & floats is your best bet. If you want a cabana/bed or even chairs, you have to save them before 7:00am. The food was nothing special. There was plenty to eat but the buffets were boring. The coffee bar was great. Overall it was a wonderful trip, but you should know it's not quite 5-star excellence...

Chambre en général pas très propre bar piscine pas sourire si oui 3 sur 20 buffets aussitôt porte ouverte manger froid encore là pas service beaucoup attitude sont pas tous sans sourire en pourcentage de 100%je note 30% après m’avoir changé chambre 2fois la dernière chambre j’ai été upgrater et c’était parfait service a chambre excellent si ont me demande si je referais cette hôtel je dirais NON due chambres et personnels rester au AZUL c’est pas donné ça faut pas le prix qu’on pay après ma 5ieme fois à NEGRIL

Problems with towels (both beac and bath) Very poor choice of food and not really good, including la carte restaurants. Low quality alcohol. Great beach. Staff is nice.

So Many pools to choose from. Amazing. Staff were amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. Food was wonderful. We had the best time. The only thing that needs to be fixed are the roads. Very bad to get from Montego Bay to Negril.

Pools are great and the beach is beautiful with plenty of trees, cabanas and lawn chairs. There are high chairs in all restaurants. Use bug spray for ackee restaurant. Food and drinks is good. Overall staff is amazing. I would recommend this place for families. I would come back again. Our favourite people are Flame, T.T., aqua sports rental staff including Ashley and the other lady, Travis and the guy always under the tree on the beach.
