Family Trip

Property was very nice. Beautiful view of the river from the balconies. Grassy area for the kids to play football or other outdoor games. You can walk down and sit in the river right in front of your condo. Grandkids took an inflatable boat and paddled around. Kitchen was well stocked. Grocery story is only a couple of minutes away.

Guadalupe Tubing Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's always a great place to stay. Walking distance to tubing rental. Float right back to condo, so no one has to drive.The property description is very accurate. Very well maintained and clean. We had an issue with the bathtub not draining well, contacted New Braunfels Escape and it was fixed within a couple of hours.

Happy independence day

We stay in the two properties with a large group for the 4th of July. The river access was great for young kids and was family friendly. Spacious enough for 4 families. The only detraction from the stay was the security guard walking in the breeze way between the two properties. He was in no way rude or obtrusive, but it felt like he was walking in our living. I realize he was just doing his job. This is my only complaint. Otherwise it was a great time and we will visit again soon.

Wonderful Stay!

We rented both condos for an extended family vacation. Some of the things we liked the most was the access to the river and the gorgeous view from the balcony. The kids went down and played in the shallow water for hours. The adults loved the adjoining patios. We sat every evening and watched fireflies. The condos were very comfortable, clean and inviting. There was plenty of room for eating and playing games. We enjoyed the breakfast bar and used both kitchens for our family meals together. The kitchen is where I would have some suggestions. We stayed in 204. The silverware was too small. The regular forks were smaller than normal salad forks. Also, there needs to be some larger bowls for salads or mixing. There were only 2 trash bags...for a 5 night stay with two families, we had to purchase more. Also, a full length mirror somewhere would be nice! The pool was also a hit! It was very clean and sparkling. There were plenty of chairs and a covered area. We would definitely stay here again! We liked the location which was very near the entrances of the Guadalupe if you plan on floating the river. I would definitely stay there again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We float the river every year for my husbands birthday. This is our second year staying at Rio Guadalupe and we plan on making this our destination every year going forward. Management company is so easy to work with. Property is beautiful and safe. Units have everything you need for your stay. Grocery store and liquor store are both very close. You can float and get right out at the condos.
