「This was a great secluded cabin to spend the weekend! It was an a short, scenic drive to the AT trailhead to hike to McAfee Knob, which was just beautiful! We even passed some thru hikers on the way back! It’s about 30 minutes to Roanoke where we got dinner and walked around. It’s a cute little town. There’s a great store there called Mast General Store that I got lost in because they have everything! The house itself is clean and was equipped for what we needed. They supplied a keurig coffee...

「Honestly couldn’t ask for a better place. Quiet place only about 20 minutes from downtown Covington, and within 40 minutes of several outdoor spots. Everything was super clean, everything in the cottage worked well, and the wifi was fast. Perfect spot for a secluded get away but with amenities and privacy you can’t find at a campground. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.」

「We loved our stay here. We were traveling to Maryland and stopped here for an overnight. Communication with the host was easy and we certainly had plenty of space to spread out. Really, the only downside is that it's maybe 15-20 minutes off the highway, so a little bit out of the way, but we felt safe in the neighborhood and there is a designated parking spot for visitors. The bed was comfortable, you can use the washer and dryer if you need, there is a mini fridge for holding things...

「Salem Historic Downtown VRBO was exactly as described. It was close to downtown, and not far to walk or drive to eating locations. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, desk room, TV room, laundry room, and kitchen, were all very clean. 「We have stayed at a lot of VRBOs over the years. This was by far one of the nicest! It was so clean, beds were comfy, host was very responsive. There were little kcups and creamers to go with the Keurig. There were so many little touches throughout that made you say “oh wow that’s so nice” soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes etc. The ping pong table in the basement was so fun. The outdoor area was super nice and cute to unwind. We will definitely be back if we get the chance! 」
