Staff was very nice and the AC was incredibly cold which was perfect considering how hot it was outside. The only thing I didn’t love was the bathroom shower seemed kind of grody, probably due to some rusty pipes? But otherwise great stay.

The hotel was great! It is in a great location! The front desk attendant was very kind and helpful. He gave us a little bit of background of the hotel and the area. It was a great experience!

It was okay. However, we were traveling with other friends and their rooms were very small with tiny bathrooms. The cleanliness was good but the place overall was run down. There were no amenities except for a run down courtyard. Would not stay again.

It’s a hotel with a lot of charm and history. The staff were so great and the location is perfect to walk to the shops and restaurants. I didn’t like that the pool is a 6 min walk away. Also, the air conditioning didn’t work the greatest. The staff tried to remedy the situation, but it was just a little too warm for our liking. Of course, it’s an original hotel, so it’s not an unexpected problem, just wanted to let people know in case they want to bring a fan, etc. overall, it was a very nice stay.

We didn’t see any ghosts however we stayed in the hotel building, not the outside courtyard so at night while we were trying to sleep it was very loud, and with all the lights off the room was still very light, and bright almost as if there was a light on. Staff was nice, parking situation wasn’t ideal.

It was a great place to stay. It was walking distance from Bourbon Street, many shops, bars, and restaurants. It was in a quiet area. The rooms could use some attention. The floor in our room needed some fixing. But overall great place!

Wonderful Hotel Highly Recommend

Had a wonderful time at Andrew Jackson Hotel. The staff was very helpful about where to go and not go. The hotels location was perfect close to coffee shop, great little diner and a really cool bar, that's the oldest in the USA. A block from Bourbon St.

Rooms are adequate size, bathroom was clean. Nice courtyard. Enjoyed our first day there. Leeroy is professional and nice. Problem can on our last night when we returned to our room and it reeked of smoke. Person in charge stated she had no authority to move us or even open the empty room next to us to see if it smelled. She could not reach manager. Was given managers number when we checked out. Called him when we got home. He said he had to investigate- it’s been over a week- no phone call. We go to New Orleans at least twice a year- never had had complaints- we always give positive reviews. Not this time.

We loved staying at the Andrew Jackson Hotel! The staff were wonderful, the room spacious, the courtyard so fun to sit in. Resident courtyard cat was a plus and seeing the paranormal tours come through was fun. Great place to stay and close to everything.
