I’ve been traveling for 41 years and this is without a doubt the worst place I’ve ever stayed. If there had been some place else I could have stayed I would have. Due to a week long sports event this was the only place where I could get a room and after checking in I understood stand why. I will never stay in a Days Inn ever.

The room was filthy; the shower had not been cleaned from the last traveler, at least. The sink did not look like it had been cleaned in months. The odor was horrible. And the multitude of insects crawling around!! I attempted to find other accommodations but was unsuccessful. I had to go and purchase cleaning products to clean the shower and other flat surfaces for one night! I even purchased a fitted sheet and blankets for the top of the bed along with bug spray! I stopped at the desk and cancelled the second day as I secured another room. I was told that I wasn't the first complaint with housekeeping just that day. I was also told to notify Expedia and they will call and verify the second day was cancelled and my funds would be returned. Expedia said they would not answer for them.

This was one of the top 5 worst stays I have ever had. We booked for breakfast and the pool. I had plans made for three days around spending time in the pool, the real feel temp was over 100. The pool was closed by the health department. We were told it was going to open Thursday so we switched up plans around that time and it still didn't open. They don't do breakfast anymore. The room was not really all that clean. They were doing construction outside and we had to walk much further to get to our room on the second floor because parking and steps by the room were under construction.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The motel room was mostly clean, but there was a hole in the window, and the bottom of the shower cabinet is dirty and unsightly. The breakfast is a continental type used in a paper bag. It was okay. The room was very small and there was no chair to sit upon. Generally it was clean, but the floors could stand a good cleaning as well as the shower base. The A/C worked very well. We didn’t use it, but the pool looked nice and well kept. The location is close to restaurants and shopping. It is close to Amish country and just off I-77. Overall it was adequate for a brief stay when you just need a place to sleep.
