「When we first arrived at the property in an old mining village, we thought, 'oh'. However, the small frontage gave way to a lovely bandb, beautifully and carefully decorated with a very cosy, welcoming feel. Steve and Lesley made us feel extremely welcome and Steve's cooked breakfast was delicious 」

「The location was excellent. Morpeth is a beautiful town and everything is within easy walking distance of the Premier Lodge. My only criticism is that the Lodge is a red brick building and looks nothing like the photo. Nothing wrong with it though.」

「Bertrams is a lovely place to stay in Warkworth. The rooms are very comfortable with everything you need. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We stayed in a dog friendly room which was at the front facing the road. The room was really hot due to the great weather but we were unable to have the window open during the night because of the noise from the busy road.
