"It was a 5 minute walk from the train station and there were several eating places steps away and across the street. Lawsons right next door. Big department stores right down the street so it was in a very convenient area. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. There was an ironing press and some kind of washing machine in the room (instructions in Japanese and we didn't need it so we didn't inquire).The staff were polite, cheerful, and very helpful when we asked questions. They spoke English. There was coffee, water, and all kinds of free amenities in the lobby like room slippers, shower caps, etc. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Okura Fukuoka. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. "

"The rooftop bar was impressive. It's between Tenjin Station and Yakuin Station, so it's good for out-of-town travel. And it's nice that Don Quixote and Matsumoto Tsuyoshi drug stores are within a 5-minute walk. Convenience stores are also best located with Lawson Family Mart 7-Eleven within a 3-minute walk."
