This charming house was the perfect place to enjoy Aruba in! The location is fabulous, just a short drive to all the beaches, restaurants, ect. We loved our stay here! Stella was so responsive and great to work with. I highly recommend this VRBO!

Decent stay

The house itself has a lot of potential, well equipped, close to beaches and we enjoyed our stay. However, it desperately needs a good cleaning, and maintenance. The shower in the ensuite bathroom doesn't drain. The toilets run all night. The floor is filthy. And the property manager came to the house one day while we were at the beach and didn't give us notice which was a little off putting.

Overpriced, antiquated unit

PRO's - Property manager is very responsive. Unit is clean. A/C is good. Washer is great. TV works well. Pool is cleaned weekly. Nice outdoor shower. Good location and close to beaches. Private backyard. Great closet space. The property manager was very accommodating in allowing us early access as we were already on the island staying at another unit nearby and we asked to drop off our luggage and fridge items.CON's - Kitchen and bathroom sinks do not have hot water so you have to boil water to do dishes or shave OR you have to run the dishwasher every day and risk going over your water allowance. This was an inconvenience for us because it was just 2 of us and we always do our dishes in the sink. We have been renting units for 10 years on the island and this is the first time a unit has not had hot water service in the faucets. No proper bed linens-the top sheet is a duvet cover that barely fits the mattress. Have to put your USED toilet paper in a garbage can! Broken beach chair that was never fixed/replaced during our 2 week stay.

Great villa! Private pool and much more spacious than a hotel.

We loved this villa. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths provided ample space for our family. We made many meals there and packed lunches for the beach. We did eat out a few times and driving in Aruba was simple. This is in a quiet residential neighborhood so a car is needed to get to the beaches and restaurants. We spent so much relaxing time by and in the pool during our stay. We would love to go back! It’s close to many North West beaches, short drive to the high rise hotels too if you want more action/excitement.

Great option for visiting Aruba!

Celebrated a special anniversary and was our first time in Aruba. Won't be the last! Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Upon arrival the front door key was in a lockbox at the front door. You are greeted with a view of the pool/deck area when you walk in. The beds were comfortable although we only used one of the three bedrooms. A/C was ice cold when we used it. We didn't spend much time in the pool but really enjoyed the area in the back. We really preferred Arashi Beach which is a short drive away. We rented beach lounge chairs and an umbrella so didn't really need the beach chairs that were provided. Our biggest fear was the studio area that could also be rented, it was rented the entire time we were there, and I can tell you that you won't hear anything from that area, there is a separate entrance and we never heard a peep out of the other guests. The home to me was Spanish style with lots of tile and a wonderful charm. We avoid the "Super Hotels" and glad we did. Down the road is 080 Club and we ate there twice for dinner. One of the best places we ate at. We shopped at "Super Do It Center" down the road and it's all you need for groceries, alcohol, anything you need for your stay. Don't bother with the other grocery stores. The hosts were super responsive and there is a local woman who will help you with anything you need. Book with confidence if this is what you are looking for.

Great Stay at Tibushi 15

The neighbourhood where this property is located is quiet and removed from the crowds elsewhere on the island, something my wife and I loved. Property was great, clean and well-stocked for our stay. Pool area was great; no fighting for a palapa with others. A very relaxing vacation. Thank you Stella.

20 yr anniversary trip

We had a great time in Aruba, and I think that the location of this property is very nice for families who prefer to be in a quiet setting (in comparison to roads with hotels and much activity). Very close to many beaches. We felt like we were a bit cramped with 6 people- 5 adult sized, but that also helped us get out and explore the island more. The listing is accurate in showing the space and sizes of the rooms, but the decor has changed and it feels like it may need some more comfortable couches (but again! inspired us to explore and not be hermits!), options for bedding, and shower drains that drained more quickly. We did not reach out to the owners or Alicia about anything during our stay, but I know that if something came up- it would have been handled swiftly and quickly. Thank you for offering a place to take our family to celebrate our 20yr anniversary- we saw much more of the island this time around!

Thanksgiving family trip

This was our second stay at this property. The first time was amazing but the showers were (like in many places in the Caribbean) cold. They recently updated the showers and now all showers are as hot as you’d like. Neighborhood is great. Quiet but close enough to restaurants and beaches. It’s not huge but with 3 bedrooms perfect for our family of 4 with teenagers (WiFi is good!). We would definitely stay again!

Cottage near best snorkeling spots and beach (ARASHI) on island.

Property was just as advertised. Easy check in/out, clean, appointed with all needed to cook almost everything you need in kitchen, which was crucial for us as we prepared every breakfast and lunch and a couple of dinners at home. Small supermarket 2 min drive away, larger one 7 min away. We turned on tv once, so not important to us but it had some english stations. We like away from other tourists and crowds, but also close enough, 7 min. Drive for our adult kids to go to strip where hotels, bars, clubs, casinos are. Great stay! Thanks Alicia and Stella😊!

Relaxing family vacation in Aruba

We were a 4 generation family group and wanted a place where we could relax and spend time together. The villa met our needs. The kitchen is very well stocked. The outdoor area has lots of different places to sit - sun and shade. There is a natural area behind the house so it is private and peaceful. The indoor living dining space is fairly small so a little crowded for all six of us but since we spent the majority of time outside not an issue. The pictures and description of the house are accurate. If you want to visit the beach or tourist attractions you will need a car for this location. Any questions we had were answered promptly. The owner and the local property manager were both very friendly and helpful.

Tears and tears

I was so sad to go. The place was amazing. Stella and Alicia were very accommodating. We are thankful to you for allowing us stay at Tibushi. It's close to everything fun. It's close to the local supermarket. It has a washing machine that we left detergent for the next guest. The close line is on the side of the house for the next guest to know. The best five days we've ever had in 15+years of marriage! Like I said... Tears...

Nice house in a short driving distance to the beach

It is a good property with a good management. We had several small problems in the beginning, but Alicia (manager) and Stella (owner) promptly resolved our issues. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and are considering to come back to Aruba.

Wonderful vacation!

The house is as seen in the pictures and the pool perfect to relax. It is in a very calm neighbourhood and close to everything (although you need a car). Darwin, the manager, is great, very helpful and accomodating. We highly recommend it. We'll be back!

Private Villa in Quiet Neighborhood with Private Pool close to Arashi Beach

Our family of four adults from the United States stayed at this villa at the end of March for one week. This was not our first visit to Aruba and we always stay at private villas whenever we travel. Stella was so nice and accommodating to our family before, during and after our stay. She left us beach towels and camping chairs to use at the beach. Darwin, her property manager, was very kind and helpful. The villa and pool were clean upon arrival and it had everything we could possibly need to enjoy our week. Since we always use these type of reviews when choosing what villa to book in other locations, we would like share our observations to help other travelers make the right decision. We all agreed that the photos on Home Away made some of the rooms appear larger than they actually were. The living room area off the kitchen is extremely small and we found the couch very uncomfortable when trying to watch the NCAA Final Four basketball tournament. We must like soft beds in the U.S. because we all agreed the beds were extremely hard and the pillows were way too soft and flat, Please note that you are given an allowance for electricity usage. We were gone all day and only ran the air conditioning in each of the bedrooms to sleep (you needed it) and we exceeded the allowance by a small amount which Stella graciously waived. We never used the air in the living room. Not sure how you could use the air in all three bedrooms and stay within the limit. In the overview in Homeaway, it states there are two studios that are rented out. We did not see this when we booked. It is easily missed because it is at the bottom of the page under "More Details" Although the people at the studios did not interfere with our vacation, when outside at the pool in the morning enjoying our coffee, you could hear them over the wall enjoying their breakfast and conversation.
