"Breakfast was very good. Room service was prompt and pretty good quality. The ability to have luggage storage because early check in wasnt available was definitely a plus and Ive booked a 2nd stay after returning from my cruise. Only issue was with key cards and getting into the room( had to get it reset 2 times and eventually had room staff call downbto gain me entry).Staff was very friendly and helpful. This will be a go to spot whenever Im in Miamj for a cruise vacation."

"Generator Miami was a great place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, and I was fortunate enough to be given a room on the 7th floor with a view of the Maimi skyline at night. Beautiful! The beach is only a block away and it's also it's conveniently located with the #150 bus, which takes you to and from airport station, right across the street. I would choose to stay here again."

"Before booking, I confirmed that the hotel offered complimentary luggage storage, which is also clearly advertised on both Expedia and their own website. I even called two weeks prior to my stay to verify this, as I had festival tickets and needed to store my bag before check-in. When I arrived around noon, I was told by the red-haired front desk agent that there was no space and "nothing she could do." There was even a room visible off to the side of the lobby, yet I was refused any accommodation. Because the festival does not allow luggage, I was forced to forfeit my plans entirely. I lost about $200 in tickets and $50 on an Uber from the airport to the hotel. What was supposed to be a fun Sunday turned into a logistical nightmare. The only thing they offered was waiving the resort fee -- which does not come close to covering the financial loss or inconvenience caused. I emailed management afterward asking, at the very least, for some dining credit to help offset the situation. They never responded until the day we had to leave and just offered late checkout. Beyond that issue, there were several other problems: * The lobby smells strongly of mold the moment you walk in. It's overpowering and gives a terrible first impression. * We paid extra for a suite with a jacuzzi and it did not work. * The outdoor chair cushions were old, worn, and uncomfortable. * The listing shows bathrobes as part of the suite amenities -- there were none in the room. *The thermostats "

"This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. From the moment we checked in, it was a disaster. The front desk staff, especially Troy, was rude and unprofessional. We were initially given the wrong room, forcing us to return to the front desk to have it corrected. Once we got into the room, the issues only got worse. There were small roaches throughout the room, visible mold in the bathroom, and the air conditioning unit stopped working. When I tried calling the front desk to speak with a manager about these concerns, my calls were disconnected intentionally twice. We booked two nights and ended up leaving a day early. Troy at the front desk was especially unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic customer service was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here."
