“Every thing was very tip top”

“Excellent location very close to Lincoln Cathedral.”

“We had emailed the hotel three times before our arrival to book a table in the restaurant and received no reply. Upon arriving at the hotel we were told that the restaurant was fully booked and that we could eat in the bar until 9pm. Unfortunately this message was given to many other patrons and the bar was overflowing with people trying to find seats and order food. A group already sat at a table said we could have their table as it was obvious there was no chance of getting served. We……

“Lovely stay”

“Comfortable ”

“離市中心一般，回酒店時要經過一條很斜很斜的路（Steep Hill），沒有自駕車極不便。 雖然有升降機到達3樓，但經濟房間那邊，仍然要經過約5至6級梯級，要搬運較重的行李箱極不便。 服務員，態度好。剛入住時，天氣非常熱，詢問要把風扇，第2天才有，已是幸運。”

“對外交通工具不便，房間蚊蟲很多”

“The location is excellent for the castle and cathedral. It’s an old building and therefore not ‘flashy’ but it has character. We received a friendly welcome and the staff team were very helpful. It’s a great base for visiting the old town. We did not have the time to see the town down the hill. You may have to park in the car park opposite and pay, as the hotel car park is quite small but there is space to drop off a guest if needed and then to park.”

“Worth a stay”

“The "hotel" in some respects was reasonable (vehicle parking, visual appearance, and the room itself), but did not justify the name of hotel. The property offered no facilities for an evening meal (and even the nearest dining facilities {more than half a mile away} was closing down at the end of the day we were there and only offered a limited menu on that day). When asking what time breakfast was served there was some doubt whether it was served at all. They then stated that breakfast would be……

“I always enjoy staying at this hotel however this was the first time I'd stayed in room 9, and I found the bed to bed quite firm. Apart from that no faults”

“First impressions of the hotel were excellent and overall it is a lovely place with generally attentive staff. All was going well and the receptionist said that we were lucky as our room was air conditioned, while others were not. We had been allocated room 6 and on opening the door there was an interesting staircase which split in two at a small landing with one set of stairs going to the bedroom, with the other leading to the shower room. Getting between the rooms you have to be very……

“Room was modern and spacious, immaculately clean! Beds so comfy! Whole building was well looked after, loved the ease of check in. Breakfast room was a bonus we didn't expect! Easy to find and cheap parking outside the front door. Would highly recommend. Absolutely faultless!”

“it is really nice hotel, staff are nice, food also good.”

“A lovely quiet hotel. The room was enormous and had a brilliant TV. I just need a quiet sleep and a base whilst visiting sites. This was a good find. Thankyou”

“Rooms are very tired, dated and not standardised, carpets very dirty in rooms. Television reception was so poor that made viewing anything not possible. Wifi worked, not all televisions were smart in that couldn't view streaming services. Some rooms still have single glazing, meaning cold and very noisy. The kitchen was okay but missing many things like bowls, poorly equipped. Entrance was unlit, making later arrival difficult as unable to see entrance and unable to enter code. Cleaning……
