This is the 2nd year in a row staying at Bailey’s Blue. Our family had a fantastic time, and the house is in an excellent location. The grandkids love the pool as an alternative to the beach. The renovation in the pool area was excellent with the wall being taken down and the grill and refrigerator added. Really appreciate the cake upon arrival. Already looking at booking for next year.

The house was built to great standards. Everything was beautifully decorated. Best part of this property is the pool area. The stairs are a little steep on the front and back of the house. Could use an elevator for elderly. Overall I would rate this house 4.25 stars. I also thought it was very thoughtful of the owners to leave that delicious cake.

Very nice home! We couldn't have asked for a better location! Super convenient to both North and South Myrtle Beach attractions. Plus, right on the beach! The home was very clean and exactly as described online. We will definitely be staying again in the future!

Great beachfront home

Very beautiful beachfront home. This place is only a few years old, and is very luxurious...... takes 2-3 minutes to walk to the beach. A banana boat/para-sailing company is right at the entrance to the beach.

First time North Myrtle Beach

I thought Baileys Blue was great! We were right on the beach and found it convenient to everything. It was a less crowded area of the beach (Covid related?) and we found it enjoyable. The pool was great and we found the house well equipped with beach and pool items. The house was perfect for our group of 9 adult family members.

Atlantic Beach Bailey Blue via Elliot Realty

If I’m being polite, I would say that the property and experience didn’t quite meet the expectations of the listing. If I’m being honest, I would say that this particular property and experience were the worst we’ve done in regards to home away from home stays. Our stay began 3/24/23. The pool heater wasn’t turned on even though the property manager claimed it was turned on beginning 3/21/23. When we called to say the heater wasn’t on the property manager said it was turned on three days prior. When we told them that this was not the case, they said the property owner locked the temperature controls and the ere was nothing they could do. When asked why they claimed it was on, they couldn’t explain. The property manager finally sent someone out on 3/27. The man said the pool will be warm soon. However, he turned off the jets. So for the last day of our stay we had a cold pool with no water movement. This is an issue when traveling with children. Anyone with children will know what I mean. The microwave didn’t work until we messed with the circuit breaker to generate power to it. The volume on the TV didn’t work. It only went up. The sink in the kitchen would not drain. Most annoying of all, every time you moved outside, the outdoor Ring Cameras would pick up your movement and say, “Hi, you are being recorded.” “Hi, you are being recorded.” “Hi, you are being recorded.” This continued throughout our entire stay. Unprepared property management and unsupportive ownership to sum it all up. Disappointing. We won’t be back.
