"Overnight stay for work. Pub with accommodation, I basically had a self contained flat with kitchenette which made basic self catering an option if you wanted it. Food in pub was very good. Friendly welcome and would stay again"

"We recently stayed at this newly renovated boutique hotel and absolutely loved it! The interior design is gorgeous, and the entire place was impeccably clean—we had zero complaints about our room or the service. The only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit too pricey for what it was. We ended up skipping it and grabbing a great breakfast en route instead. It would be wonderful if they offered a more reasonably priced breakfast option in the future. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would gladly stay here again!"

"Amazing holiday in one of the cottages.- Milking Parlour. Comfortable, spacious and great location if you are looking for a remote place, yet still close to a village. Hosts are also lovely and helpful. We loved our stay, thank you very much!Our recommendations are - change the electric shower as the pressure is absolutely terrible and for someone with long hair, it is almost impossible to wash the hair. - check the smell coming from under the sink- the radiator in the bathroom is noisy when the heating comes on, for a day we thought there is a washing machine above us, however it is most likely that your valves to the radiator are not being fitted correctly. Noise stops when the radiator is switched off."

"An excellent cottage, out of the way with amazing scenery. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. This is a great base for exploring both Northumberland and the Lake District. Easy walks from the cottage or just sit on the garden and enjoy the views. Very accurate description and photos. Would visit again without reservation."

"Dave's place was exactly what we were looking for after a whirlwind week with friends and family. We wanted a cosy and comfortable space where we could relax and Dave's cottage and his hospitality delivered more than we could imagine. The house itself was very clean, well-equipped for our stay, and was very homey especially with the fire on in the colder evenings. Dave was really friendly and helpful in giving us tips and information to become familiar with the area. It was easily accessible to so many beautiful hikes! We highly recommend this stay :)"
