"Hotel Review – Skegness The Royal Hotel Had a really good stay at The Royal Hotel in Skegness. Overall, the place offered everything we needed for a comfortable couple of days away. The car parking was easy, and the hotel sits in a lovely spot close to both the seafront and the Country Park, so getting out for walks was simple. The bar had a nice range of drinks, and the hotel serves both evening meals and breakfast. Breakfast was a classic full English done well, with cereals, juices, and the usual teas and coffees on the side. No complaints at all there. The room itself was spacious and had everything you'd expect — TV with a remote, tea and coffee, toiletries in the bathroom, and even a fan. The windows could be opened too, which was great for a bit of fresh air. The surrounding area was busier than expected for March, especially when the sun came out. Even though it’s still pre‑season, there were plenty of places open in the town centre for food and drinks in the evening. Being so close to the seafront was definitely a bonus. All in all, a very good stay with very little to fault. Would happily recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Skegness."

"The hotel is an older building requiring redecoration on some areas, excellent food, Clean, great staff. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't available to us due to golfing group activities which was one of the reasons that this hotel was chosen. We were not informed before booking the hotel that this was the case. It was also noisy at times"

"Big let down would not recommend for families . Dirty sheets and room stinks of smoke . Plus shower head dont work "

"No sea view but didn't ask for, or care about one. Had pretty much everything we needed. Honesty can't fault it. If we can we'll definitely go back the next time we're there. Hidden gem in our opinion."

"Caravan was okay a bit knocked in places bed was uncomfortable as to hard and sofa in living area smelt of pee"

"Worth every penny! Rated 4/5 as our toilet seat was broken, missing a bowl, and had no scissors. Not sure if they just do or dont include scissors in the kitchen but would be helpful if they did. Another thing I didnt like was that the toaster wasn’t clean and was full of crumbs. We was located above the arcade and we couldn’t hear any noise we was amazed. Furniture and decor was lovely and modern. We enjoyed our stay."

"Showing signs of wear and tear. Has everything you would need for 6 people on holiday. Wifi would not connect. Caravan is warm and cosy but does move a lot when windy."
