it's all about the sand

great location with a little side deck, outdoor shower just beyond our door, and 2 access doors; one straight to the sand! could have provided more than 2 bath towels for a 2 day stay, and several outside lights were out, so for safety reasons, that should be checked periodically. thanks for having availability for dogs: he loved it too!

A nice vacation but some improvements needed

Great central location. Quiet beach but a bit gravely and seaweedy. No shade so bring your own beach umbrella. Unit #8 photos of outside are a bit misleading as no view of beach - blocked by outdoor showers and fence. Nice little kitchen with big fridge and freezer but one tiny sink, no dishwasher, one of the 4 stove burners was not working. Only got one tiny dish soap which wasn't enough for a week. Coffee machine with no coffee pods - didn't know where to get them. No oven pans. No indoor seating. Tiny outdoor patio with bistro table was nice, but no view. Nice clean bathroom with shower only. Constant dripping sound in bathroom ceiling was annoying. AC unit was noisy. Bulb was burnt in bedside lamp. Only one window, which was broken and wouldn't open. No screen in front of patio. No alarm clock. Outdoor BBQs were dirty and only one was hot enough to grill on. Would have been nice to have towels refreshed, option to change sheets, and garbage emptied during our week long stay. No interaction with any hotel staff, only app. Bed very soft and comfy pillows. Good dog friendly motel. Don't expect 5 star experience. I would return and recommend this place if one is prepared.

Description and what you get are different/fradulant

I would NOT stay at any VACASA Property again. I booked a waterfront property with wifi on the CAPE. The room, photos, and search I used to find this room led me to believe I was booking a waterfront property. Specifically photo #15. My room was not waterfront, it was overlooked the parking lot. The wifi did not work at all the first 2 days. I repeatdly spoke to the VACASA team who assured me they were reaching out to the local team for help. I did not hear from the local team. I had to leave the property early b/c no wifi. This vacation was specifically booked so we could work, enjoy the ocean with our dog and celebrate our anniversary. was to get a room on the ocean with wifi to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was not possible b/c we had to work at an internet cafe leaving our dog behind. In the end we left b/c we had to work and we were not ocean front. The ad was misleading and the remedy to the situation did not present itself. I talked to VACASA repeatedly and all they said is customer service matters to us we will be reaching out to you about a refund. They NEVER REACHED OUT. In addition the coffee maker did not work and the property did not have enough space for the cars to park. Both only annoyances. The wifi and oceanfront were fraudulant and I am still seeking compensation. I have stayed at other VRBO properties before and the owners have always been more then helpful and responsive. With Vacasa in the middle it was annoying and no support was provided. DON'T book with VACASA.

Quick last min getaway

Lucky to have found this gem for a last minute two night get a away w my wife and dog. Great location steps from the water ( bay side) outside showers , fire pit and very clean room. Will def be booking again!!!
