“The staff were very helpful. Gave us some cookies and water upon arrival. No rooms are clean and neat. The bathroom is too small and has no handles to get in and out of the bathtub. The fan did not work so we needed to pop up in the door just to keep all the moisture out of the room. The bathroom is so cramped that the kleenex is behind the toilet back. The soap dish came off the wall in the shower as I was holding it to steady myself. It was made of concrete and held on with silicone and it hit……

“let me start by saying the front desk staff was great! Room was dirty.. crumbs in the sofa bed.. like a lot of crumbs.. sticky stuff all over floor in kitchenette area, dust everywhere.. hair and what looked like crumbs in the shower.. sticky stuff in and on fridge. oil all up inside of washing machines and dryers downstairs.. only 1 washing machine worked btw.. Breakfast was ok.. eggs were like yellow colored styrofoam but the rest was ok. free hotel breakfast so.. cant complain too much..……

“My only complaint was they didn’t have free breakfast in the morning or coffee for free - all at $$ They should at least have coffee. But the property was clean, great location, friendly staff!”

“This was the worst hotel experience in my left. The room was disgusting. It took four days for housekeeping to come and clean the room despite requesting it multiple times, including when we were out of toilet tissue. The air condition would not turn off. Maintenance was supposed to be called multiple times but in 6 days no one ever came. I requested a room change and they claimed they could not change room. I asked to speak with a manager and no manager on duty and they claimed to only be able……

“The hotel cancelled my reservation and did not notify me until I was there to check in. Even worse, they said they had refunded my money when in fact they had not. Be warned that reservations mean nothing and whatever you do, don't prepay for your stay.”

“Overall - great stay. Staff was great and the room was nice and clean. Only one negative - leaking shower door. It was a very minor issue, and I would recommend Hawthorn Suites to anyone!”
