「Never stayed in a hotel before with so many restrictions. Unable to check-in before 3pm, or use any of the leisure facilities until then. Had to pay £50/night for my dog to accompany me when I booked the hotel specifically because it was advertised as dog-friendly. The dinner was poor quality, bread stale, and not worth the price charged.」

「Such a lovely place to stay & perfect for a base to get in & out of Bath centre on the park & ride in Newbridge. Great sleep & best full English breakfast. First night we had dinner & dessert off the menu which was A*. However, after eating in Bath the second night we didn’t want much & had cheesy chips of the starter menu which were top notch. Staff were all really friendly & helpful. All been there for years! Highly recommend & we will go back.」

「We had a wonderful stay here with our son, both sets of grandparents, and our dog, and it was perfect for everyone. From the moment we arrived, the first impression was fantastic. 「Spotlessly clean, fabulous hosts and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Reading past reviews I was shocked at mentions of the floors being cold. It's an 18th century cellar for goodness sake!!! Stone floors are part of the charm. It is cosy and warm at this time of year (and I imagine lovely and cool in the summer).I would definitely stay again for its location, its cleanliness and its hosts. Can't fault it except for the mattress, which is a bit "argos" and could do with a good...
