"It was a good place but service at the front desk was slow as no one was at the desk most of the time and you had to ring a bell then wait. They also charge for parking now. They just started about 2 months ago and it's an automated system with cameras that read your licence plat when you enter, then when you leave you must pay at the kiosk in the entrance. The restaurant was closed on Sunday, the day we arrived, but the breakfast wa very good on Monday morning."

star website which you can reuse in other resorts in Norway and Sweden. It’s such a relaxing place, we slept with windows open it was so quiet. The air was fresh and we also drank the tap water which is recommended. Hotel has plenty for kids: pool, fake surfing wave, bowling, kids play room, pool tables, ice hockey...

"Two night stay, Feb 2025 Overall had a great stay, the Hotel is warm and comfortable and the refurbished decor is lovely. The log burner in the lounge/bar area was lit every afternoon/evening and we always found a comfortable corner. Bedrooms are not huge but are comfortable and we had a great view, worth the extra cost for a lake facing room. "Used the hotel as our base for

at Holmenkollen / Skimore. Great location when the

bus is operating, but only started driving after 10.00 in the morning. The hotel is 40 years old and it shows in certain areas as our bathroom was decent, but not renovated. Great views - Great beds and great new pool and sauna area, though you have to pay 200 NOK for adults and 100 NOK for children. The food options were limited and the menu had no more than 5 options for dinner. Breakfasts buffet...
