Set amid peaceful Norfolk countryside on the outskirts of Neatishead, this barn conversion offers a tranquil, rural escape. Welcoming four guests in two double bedrooms, this characterful property is ideal for couples and small families keen to explore the waterways, walks, wildlife and towns of the Norfolk Broads. Enjoy lazy days boating, walking and strolling along golden beaches on the nearby coast. Then relax and recharge with a dip in the on-site pool (charges apply) or a cosy evening snuggled around the wood burner.
Set around a landscaped courtyard, this beautifully renovated property is laid out on a single storey. Bursting with character and charm, it features wooden beamed and vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork and lovely arched windows blended with contemporary comforts. The heart of this abode is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that’s ideal for spending time with your loved ones. Cook up a storm in the smart, modern kitchen, which features a breakfast bar for casual meals. Gather around the dining table for memorable meals, before relaxing on plush sofas in the lounge to watch TV or simply enjoy quality time together. When it’s time to rest your head, two double bedrooms offer havens of relaxation and share a sophisticated Jack and Jill family bathroom. Outside, a shared courtyard is a lovely spot for a morning cuppa, while a lawned garden to the rear overlooks surrounding fields. Private parking is provided for two cars.
Other converted barns at this former farm contain a private swimming pool and a hair and beauty salon. There’s a pub, shop and modern village hall in the small village of Neatishead, along with a staithe offering direct access to Barton Broad. Take a stroll along the Barton Broad boardwalk to see local wildlife or hop in your car to Sea Palling or Winterton-on-Sea (8.5 and 15.5 miles respectively) where you may see grey seals on the beach or frolicking offshore.
