Blue Mountain Resort Village Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Have been to Blue Mountain during the winter multiple times in the past. Impressed with how developed it is now for summer activities and being classified as a resort.
The 1-bedroom suite with kitchen was good for 3 of us. We made breakfast and also returned to room mid-day for light snack or lunch. Very convenient as we do not like eating out for every meal.
Highly recommend getting the All-Access pass which gives you unlimited access to all the rides or activities. Much much cheaper than paying for each activity. Tip: Long lines on the weekends, so go weekdays. We were there Thursday to Sunday. Thursday and Friday were great, lines were always less than 20 mins (went on Ridge Runner 4-5 times). Once weekend hit, lines were too long for us so we did the less popular activity like rock climbing.
The beach is a must. Towels were $1 rental which is more convenient than bringing your own. Again, the All-Access allowed you to do paddle board and kayak. Water is clear and very shallow (up to shins). You can rent umbrellas too but the umbrella was small (only covers 2 loungers). Would bring our own family size umbrella if we go back.
Overall, great Canadian Resort for summer getaway. "
"The Dorchester is well appointed and the Ed are equipped with all the modern conveniences one could want. I especially loved the variety of glassware."
