"Pros: - Steps away from the beach - Family room is large and I liked that it was on the ground floor. If the kids ran outside, we weren't concerned that they would fall down a set of stairs - The fish tacos and tuna tostadas were excellent Cons: - It was difficult to make reservations for the restaurant; they never had enough seats for our party of 5. For a family of 5, we would've had to eat at 8:30 or 9pm. - Not enough umbrellas or shaded areas around the "kids pool". You had to wake up at 5am (if not earlier) to secure a spot with your beach towel or else you wouldn't get an area around the pool. Half the time, people placed towels and didnt even show up to their chairs until much later in the day! - The wifi was incredibly spotty and in the room, we had no cell service at all - The entertainment was lacking - There was no common area for both adults and kids (board games, etc). You'd have to wait until 9pm to use the pool table as an adult in the teen room. The child room was for kids aged 2-12 but it was geared more towards younger children so my 11 year old had to lie and go into the teen room. "

"I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I was so frustrated and tired my entire stay. I didn’t get to relax how I wanted to on my trip. The place is beautiful but it’s to massive! No one tells you have to hike to get anywhere. In 2 hrs we walked 13,000 steps! We were going in circles, the employees weren’t much help, they kept telling us to go different directions (wrong ways) maybe because the place is fairly new and employees still don’t know their way around but it was very upsetting. The first morning we tried to go to the lago restaurant and it took us over an hour to get there, we get there at 10:15am, breakfast ends at 11am, the line was so long, people waiting everywhere, we tried putting our name on the list and they said we wouldn’t make on time for breakfast because there was so many people waiting. So we went to the lazy river (again we get lost) we get there at 10:50, they told us the same thing, it was too late to eat there. It’s too big of a place, if you decide to go be prepared to go on hikes. All of our feet hurt. The theme park was not in service, my kids wanted to go on the roller coaster but was not open. Will never stay here again. "

" Las habitaciones están limpias, en buen estado como todo hotel de Fiesta Americana. Todo está en orden. La preferencia por los visitantes extranjeros, canadienses o americanos es muy marcada, en diferentes áreas y restaurantes, por supuesto, personas muy amables pero el gran porcentaje prefieren asignar una mesa a un extranjero que a nosotros como mexicanos, prefieren atender tambien a los extranjeros. Que lastima que en nuestro propio país seamos discriminados."
