We had a miscommunication with the property manager and the way he communicated with me made me uncomfortable and tainted our visit, sadly. That being said, the staff of the home was great (especially Manny, Frederico and Daniel the chef). The house works for groups, and it's nice having everything in house.

Experience of a lifetime

Everything was amazing about our stay. The property was breathtaking but the staff are definitely the star of the show. They are all wonderful people and made our stay truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend enough having an incredible vacation here.

Incredible property for three families

We were so happy with our stay! We were three families with teens. The property is stunning but the staff made it absolutely spectacular. Manny started helping us immediately following our booking. He was timely and prompt as we asked a lot of questions as we wanted to plan excursions. Upon our arrival, the rest of the staff was warm and welcoming. From great drinks to amazing meals and keeping everything immaculate, they took such great care of us. The house is beautifully situated at the end of the road, nesting in the jungle, with views of the ocean. We loved morning coffee and watching the birds! We are all adventurous types so the walk from the main road up was a daily activity but it is steep! The house is huge and we hope to return with even more friends in the future!

The best time

I went to Villa Mozzafiato to celebrate my 40th birthday with 9 of my nearest and dearest. We had the best time. The house accommodated us perfectly. Everyone (3 couples and 4 single people) got their own rooms. The house was gorgeous. We spent a ton of time in the pool, enjoying the view. We loved the location - the house is literally right next to dense jungle - the lush greenery was spectacular. Most of all, we were so well take care of by Manny, Federico, Daniel, Sandra, Luis, Ibrahim, and Gemma. It was very easy to communicate and plan with Manny before and during the trip. And we all joked we are going to struggle to go back to real life after spending a few days at Villa Mozzafiato!

Incredible Property, Views, Staff

Villa Mozzafiato exceeded our expectations. Arrival was smooth, the concierge was so helpful and attentive. The entire staff was welcoming, helpful, and so fun to be around! The property is absolutely gorgeous and the views cannot be beat. We will always try to stay here every time we visit Puerto Vallarta! The chef prepared the most amazing meals to the point we did not make any requests and left the decision to him, he and his team went above and beyond to prepare better meals than most we had dining out. Close proximity to the beach made this feel so close to everything yet so secluded and private at the top of the hill. Thank you so much!

Outstanding! Magnificent! Exceptional!

My group of 13 had the time of our lives. Gorgeous property, yes. But what really makes this villa extra special is the AMAZING STAFF. Starting with Manny, our incredible concierge. With a true heart for service, Manny bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Arranging rides from the airport and into town, booking excursions for us at great rates, offering amenities such as booking in-villa massages, Manny can do it all. He also stocked the kitchen before our arrival with food and drink based on our shopping list. More than just a concierge, Manny became our good friend. I highly recommend putting your vacation experience into his hands. As for the rest of the staff, I could gush on and on. Frederico, our bartender/waiter with a great smile, made the best margaritas and daquiris we had in all of our PV trip. So much fun to have around, we didn't leave the villa for the first two days. We were so chillaxed and pampered (and pretty drunk, too) that we didn't want to ever leave the house. And then, THE FOOD! Our chefs Marco and Martina prepared us two meals a day, serving up perfect chilaquiles, divine grilled snapper, the best guacamole ever, and so much more. We requested a decadent choc birthday cake and a flan, and Martina created the most heavenly deserts. Also grateful to Saundra, Gema, and Luis for tidying up after us and maintaining the beautiful grounds. This place is a great deal! The food costs were shockingly low, and the service above and beyond. A+++

Exceptional Experience!

We had a wonderful experience all the way around! Everything exceeded our expectations, including the wonderful and extremely competent staff; beautiful view and home; abundant options for activities; delicious food (thank you Frederico!); and the warm, friendly people of Puerto Vallarta. Manuel (our concierge) went above and beyond to make our stay especially memorable, including arrangements for a special welcome featuring local music played on a Mexican harp. Manuel attended to our every need, ensuring that everything went smoothly—he arranged for all transportation, as well as any and all activities that we wanted to do (a private boat trip that included exciting whale watching, horseback riding, a hiking tour, and a chocolate mole workshop). His attention to detail, consistent responsiveness, and warm, genuine nature were exceptional. Thank you for making us feel so welcome throughout our stay, Manuel! We will always remember this special family vacation and would highly recommend it!!!!!

Wonderful Private Residence - Family Vacation in PVR!

Our family of 16 had the most amazing time at the residence. Communication was very easy over the last 2 years (since our original planned vacation was postponed). We had everything we needed and if we had a special request, we just communicated our desire. The entire staff, from the cleaning lady, our bartender and cooks were wonderful. Always smiling and accommodating. We alternated house / pool days with activity days. It was so nice that the house coordinator arranged all our transportation with their trusted partners. We went touring and surfing in Sayulita, ATV riding, tequila tasting. Sadly our snorkel cruise was cancelled due to weather, but we made the best of it and toured the Malecon. We booked all our tours with one of the house coordinators. EZ! We had scheduled massages one day in the house and some of us walked down to the beach. An amazing time and good connections made. Thanks for such a memorable experience. Until next time!

What a lovely experience!

The house is huge (2 master suites with rad views on the top floor along w/a bunk room for kids, master suite with view on main living floor, bunk rooms on ground floor, and separate master suite on the other side of the garage, private and nice, but no views), the views are gorgeous, and the location is great. It’s quite private and lush, about 15/20 mins drive to downtown Puerto Vallarta and a bit longer than that to the Mega grocery store, and about a 25 minute or so walk downhill to a beach that has a phenomenal restaurant (though note you have about 5 mins walking along a very busy street that’s a bit scary – and you probably want to get a car to go back up the hill). The pool is a great size for a private home and sitting on the deck watching whales in the ocean while sipping margaritas was pretty incredible. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff. They are beyond incredible. Griz stayed on top of everything and was only a text message away at all times to answer any questions and arrange everything we needed. Ruby went above and beyond her job to keep the place spotless (no small feat with 8 adults and 5 kids under eight-years-old). Saul kept the pool and grounds lovely. Louis, David and Frederico created amazing food (ask for the chili rellenos, the tortilla soup and the red snapper!). Every afternoon there were chips with wonderful salsa and guacamole – all freshly made. They were happy to whip up kid-friendly food like quesadillas or sandwiches for picky kids. The fresh margaritas were awesome and never-ending. I honestly cant say enough about this wonderful staff – they made the stay amazing.

Great family vacation

Our family of 16 spend the Christmas week at this wonderful location. Great house! Lots of room, beautiful views, super location. Frederico the bartender (and so much more!) and Alex the chef provided superb service. Meals were delicious and even somewhat healthy. One of the best days we had was renting a boat and taking a trip to an isolated beach, accompanied by Frederico and Saul the house maintenance guy. Absolutely wonderful - they packed us a lunch and then even played soccer with the grandkids. What a wonderful memory. Any small issues we had were immediately resolved by Mike the homeowner. Absolutely recommend!

What an awesome concept

We had a corporate meeting/fun event. I cannot write a note long enough the express how wonderful of a time we had, and how thankful I am with the staff. Gis (concierge), made sure from before we arrived that my vision for the meeting/fun event was fully implemented. She has so gracious and accommodating during our entire stay that made things very easy and simple for us. She was a tremendous help not only on the planning but also on the execution. Alex (chef), the first thing that comes to mind is just a flat out, WOW! Alex was not only easy to work with but very open to accommodate what I had in mind as far as food for the entire event. We planned the meals and went shopping together so he could learn more about what I had in mind and how to best execute my plans. The results were amazing! Federico (barman, waiter, butler, and just all-around awesome), was the person that made sure everything was carried out as planned and made fast changes on the go as needed. He was also kind enough to get some uni for us; all while preparing delirious drinks. While we did not have much interaction with Flaco and Changuito we got to have loads of fun with them when they took us on a hike to visit the waterfalls. They were the ones that quietly came and did loads of work to help Alex and Federico. Special thank you to Rubi and our apologies for our mess.

Great experience, I will RETURN!!

My sisters and I stayed in this location for 6 days 5 nights and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was great, the chef (Alex and baby) and bartender (Fredarico) kept us full and happy, the cleaning staff kept the villa in tip top shape and the concierge (Gris) was available for any and everything we could think of. The driver (Cesar) was professional and available when we needed him. It was 14 women all with different wants and needs and we were able to relax and truly enjoy ourselves to the fullest. We scheduled massages on the patio and even got our photo shoot accomplished because the gracious staff stepped in to help. I cannot say enough about this location but I will be bringing my family back. The only con is that it is not a true 7 bedroom so be prepared to share bathrooms and some sleeping space, if your family and friends are ok with that, then this property is for you!! Thank you to everyone and we will see you all again!!

Absolutely Perfect-Highly Reccommend

We had the very best stay at Villa Mozzafiato! We hosted my friend's bachelorette and 30th birthday party at the house. The property is located at the top of a hill in a private community and the views from every room of the house are breathtaking! The house is spacious and all of the beds are comfortable. The house has everything you need and more. But the staff is the best thing about the stay, Griselda is an excellent, attentive and caring concierge. The menu is diverse and the cooking staff was able to accommodate all of our dietary restrictions and preferences throughout the weekend. The house is definitely outside of the city center, but it is a quick cab or Uber drive away. Mike is also a very attentive host, he is quick to reply and will help you coordinate all aspects of your travel. Again, I cannot recommend this house highly enough! Great service and value for an incredible stay!

Skip the resorts and stay here

We were in PV for a week for a family vacation and couldn't have picked a better spot. Mike was easy to coordinate with, and his staff are truly exceptional. Gris was an excellent concierge, Federico, Alejandro and the kitchen crew were incredible. Our drinks and meals were top notch and they easily handled all of our group's dietary restrictions. The house is beautiful and the cleaning and maintenance staff kept the place looking immaculate while we were there. Thank you for hosting us!

Family Vacation

The Villa was everything we had hoped for. There was plenty of room for all 4 families, from infants to teens to Grandma and Grandpa. The house was awesome, but what made the trip one of our best ever was the staff. Gris made sure we had everything we needed, food, transportation and trips. Alejandro prepared all of our meals fresh daily and it was better than any resort we've ever stayed. Frede kept our refreshments coming with something special for every age group and there was always quesadillas or fruit or chips for the kids to snack on. Nattie was cleaning all day long but never in the way and constantly wiping hand prints off the windows with a smile on her face all the time. Gustavo took time out from his chores to hand make rings for the kids. Definitely a 5 star experience for us.

Wow...Best Family Vacation!!!

Our family vacation was perfect! Our three children, their spouses and four grandchildren escaped the cold weather and had a awesome vacation. The concierge was able to fill all of our requests, from arranging pickup at the airport and transportation to the Zoo & Beach, a deep sea fishing excursion and massages at the house. The Chef, Chef helper and Bartender went over and above to make our stay very special...all the meals and snacks were delicious, drinks made perfectly and they accommodated our crazy schedule. We went to the beach one afternoon and came back and the Gardner had fixed the inflatable pool giraffe. The housekeeper came everyday and cleaned with all of us there and was never in our way. We came as strangers to their house but when we left they were like family. Thanks to all for this Perfect Vacation.

Amazing Christmas in Puerto Vallarta

We rented the home with 2 other families for Christmas. Between the 3 families we had 17 people total including 2 infants. The experience was beyond amazing! There was plenty of room for everyone. Hands down the best part of the experience was the staff! The Concierge they have was extremely helpful. Having so many kids meant we needed lots of snacks and easy food to keep them happy. Anytime we were running low we could message their Concierge and she would make sure food/supplies were there the next day. The chef/bartender were probably the best part. They made wonderful authentic food every day. They were flexible as well with all of our children's appetites. One of my favorite moments was waking up Christmas morning, walking into the kitchen and watching the chef making Christmas cookies with all the kids! They also have a very wonderful driver that was able to take us into town or to the beaches. With the staff, meals and pool truthfully we rarely left! Overall it was an incredible trip and very thankful to Mike for letting stay and for the wonderful staff! I would highly recommend staying here!

Stunning

Amazing venue, lovely staff and the chef, oh my!! Every meal was excellently prepared and presented. We saw a warm, very hospitable side of Mexico not generally found in tourista places. Our concierge was warm, engaging and very able to meet our every need and we were a diverse group of adults. The pictures do not do this property justice, the art and ambiance is even more lovely and gracious. We will be back! Thank you Miquel and staff.

We had a family reunion at this location. I was expecting more out of this place as it is pricie.. The place is ok.. one room had a big spider, another room had a scorpion and another room had a little lizard. The service was poor. The chef came in late to cook breakfast 😏 I paid for the groceries for the chef to cook. The servers, chef and others were eating the food I paid for during work time 😏 I don't mind them eating, but at least ask. It could of been better.. I recommend a 5 star hotel suite with better service and all inclusive. You will spend less on food and get better service. I spended more $ in buying groceries and paid for chef and servers.

Excellent Home! Louiz makes it even better!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here!! The house, the pool, the location, the view, but seriously Louiz, I have to say made it top notch! He treated us like family! He went above and beyond after his work day to walk us to the beach and help us find the perfect location for my son's wedding!! The cook and assistant cook made a beautiful wedding cake.... I could go on and on! My kids already want to book again!

Absolutely Exceeded Our Expectations!

Our stay at the villa was incredible! The living room & dining room sliding glass doors opened up to the covered outside area and the pool. Our family spent spent so much time hanging out in these area. The infinity pool was perfect! The master suites were large and beautiful. Mike was easy to contact & responded quickly. He put us in touch with the villa's coordinator which was extremely valuable. She helped us plan everything from the menu, transportation, a family photographer and answered any questions we had before & during our trip. The cook & assistant cook were amazing. We had fresh homemade meals & they were the most positive eager to please people I have met. They did all of the shopping, cooking & cleaning up. The bartender made us alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks: mojitos, margaritas, fruit smoothies. . . The villa was cleaned everyday & was quite impressive!! I do not hesitate to recommend this villa to others. I know you would have an amazing stay in PVR!!

It was a memorable experience!

The house was very spacious and roomy. The infinite pool was our favorite place to be. The entire staff and especially chef made it an amazing experience. We highly recommend this vacation home.
