Great place to stay. We usually stay in hotels/ motels but lack of these lead us here. Very enjoyable, and relaxing. Well appointed and comfortable. Good local restaurants but we also enjoyed the local supermarket and eating in watching American TV.
Bit of a trek up to Yosemite but worth the drive.

Great stay!
The house is very comfortable and the host immediately answered the few questions we had. The house is well-situated for visiting Yosemite and other sites in the area. There are ample supplies and they even left us some eggs from their chickens!

Gemütliches kleines Cottage
Wir waren für 2 Übernachtungen angereist, um möglichst günstig, aber nah am Yosemite-Nationalpark zu sein. Das Cottage wird von einem sehr netten älteren Ehepaar vermietet, die gleich nebenan wohnen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns sogar mit frischen Eiern der eigenen Hühner überrascht. Das Cottage ist gemütlich eingerichtet, sauber und war mit allem ausgestattet, was wir für 2 Tage benötigten. Supermarkt , verschiedene Restaurants und Tankstellen von Oakhurst sind nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Für den Besuch des Nationalparks empfiehlt sich, morgens früh zu starten, um nicht im Stau zu stehen. Einzig die Lage des Cottage direkt an der Straße ist etwas unglücklich, da der Verkehrslärm schon früh morgens beginnt und Wände und Fenster nicht besonders schallgedämt sind. Uns hat das aber wenig gestört. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen.

Amazing Stay and an Unforgettable experience!!
My family and i had an AMAZING vacation at Savitri’s cottage. It’s 30-40 min away from Yosemite National Park and about 15 min away from Bass Lake. Perfect stay for a family of 4. Savitri and her husband are amazing and heart warming couple. They have a pen where they keep chickens and even left us fresh eggs in the kitchen. During our stay, the city had a power outage and Savitri and her husband were fully aware of it and immediately came by and brought us flashlights and candles and even bags of ice as they live near by. They also brought us mosquito repellent in case we wanted to hang out on the deck until the electricity came back on for the A/C. One morning when we woke up there was an envelope on the mat with $20 to treat our daughters to some ice cream at an amazing spot in Oakhurst called Reimers which was really thoughtful of our host. Definitely looking forward to come back soon. Highly recommended booking a stay at this unforgettable cottage.!! Thank you Savitri for making us feel at home!!

Quaint retreat after our days in Yosemite
Perfect for a small family after a long day in Yosemite. Nice host, ac gets cold after it’s been running for a little bit, cozy bed, nice bathroom and kitchen.

We really liked the property and had a great time in the area. This property was perfect for my wife an I. We didn't need much from the property owners, but they were attentive when we had questions and made sure we had what we needed for a great stay. While the property is right on highway 49 we didn't get disturbed in any way by vehicle traffic. The cottage is very nice and comfortable.
