Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at several different condos in NCV over the last 15 or so years. We love our trip each time and really enjoy the location and amenities that the complex provides. This unit is in a great location. It has great views of the pool and ocean, and the bedrooms get great breeze to keep the heat down. It is close to both the pool and the beach, which is a nice plus. Not many condos in NCV have AC and this one follows that trend. Most of the time this is not necessary as the weather is generally pretty favorable and just opening the windows will allow enough breeze to keep cool. This condo specifically could use come updating. Specifically the bathrooms are in need of a refresh. The flooring in them is coming up around the edges and they just overall feel dated and dirty. The kitchen could also use an update, but it provides everything needed and doesn’t feel inadequate in any areas. With those improvements, this condo could go from good to great! We will return to NCV in the coming year, and will look for this condo again.... Especially if any updates are made.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great time and enjoyed that there was so much to do within walking distance from the condo. The individuals at Make My Vacation were fantastic and responsive. When we got there the shower head in one of the bathrooms was completely broken - they were there within the hour to change out the head for a new one. The condo in general is clean and updated except for the 2 bathrooms. The bathroom are very old and are in great need of a complete rehab; the vinyl flooring is peeling up and the showers/tub are old visually unappalling. We were told that the bathrooms were going to be redone this winter. There is no AC but keeping the windows open and fans running helped a lot. The views from the patios were stunning and having a pool facing room blocked out any street noise from the beach side of the property. Overall we enjoyed our time there and once the bathrooms are redone we would go back.

We had a ceiling fan that didn’t work, got fixed, then stopped working again. The oven probably needs an upgrade. Also the shower heads.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great property if you want to be next to the beach and literally hear the relaxing sounds of the ocean! Property well kept. Perfect for families. Close to downtown with lots of restaurants and farmers markets. Only downside is don’t rent a big SUV hard to park in the garage. And pool can get overcrowded with people not always watching their kids.

Great community

The property was lovely. It was difficult to use the pool during the day as it was crowded with unsupervised kids. Spa many times was also filled with young kids. Our condo was nice with a well stocked kitchen, although the kitchen and bathrooms were in need of renovation (looked original to the building). The tub faucet continually dripped and bathroom floor was coming loose.

Nice Vacation to Oceanside, CA

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. There were just a few things we did not like. 1) Parking. This property did offer free parking, but we took two vehicles and only had one reserved parking spot. We had to scramble to find a 2nd parking spot and on our first day had to go to a parking lot further away from our unit. 2) There was no A/C, but this was something we overlooked. Wejust assumed there would be A/C. However, there were ceiling fans and screens on the windows and balcony door. So we were able to open the windows and the balcony door and vent out the hot air. The ocean breeze and fans kept.us cool. 3) There were small ants in the unit. We killed a few that were crawling on the dining table. 4) The water dispensar on the refrigerator was broken.
