Oceanside Spa Hotel

"I saw this hotel… looked nice on the outside.. rooms were $225+ … I saw it online for $167 .. thought that I must be good… Well I felt like I was sleeping on the side of the freeway entrance… it was basically a Motel 6, where they fixed up the front. Light shown through the door crack … needs updating. You can put lipstick on a Motel 6… but it’s still a Motel 6 … Not worth the money!"

"Overall the hotel was okay. The room was clean, the pool and hottub were nice, and the continental breakfast was pretty good. It was also located within walking distance of a Starbucks which I always appreciate. The main downsides were 1) the noise - anytime someone in the hall opened/shut their door it woke us up because it was so loud, and 2) the location was a little further from the beach and main area for dining/shops than we expected. "

"We originally were given a room with one bed when we had booked one with two. After speaking to the front desk, he managed to find us a room with two beds. The second room we were given wasn’t very clean. Trash cans had trash, hand towels were crumpled, toilet dirty and to top it off the room smelled. Property is located near the freeway and shops are close near by. Front desk guy was friendly. "
